I wonder when the NewJeans, LE SSERAFIM & IVE d*ck riding is going to end? Let’s see how many of y’all gonna throw them away, once the new girlies debut next year :coffee: It’s a repeating cycle with d*ck riding fans I fear

Rolling Stones Korea has not the best track records when it comes to objectives journalism. Calling PNation a revolution and a new era for music companies. Saying Loona had a hit in Korea etc...

Their journalists just brush when and where they can to get the artists and their fans attention.

Sounds more like you are swerving and pressed about TXT getting their deserved credit. And this is not the first time you've been pressed about TXT, miss Xalric. :bird:

Yuehua needs to get it together cause TEMPEST are having 3 comebacks this year and attending all these Year end shows, meanwhile EVERGLOW are in the basement recording this $5 dance practice of a 3-year old b-side

Miss Onda still slayed though :jonny6:

What’s examples of Y2K being popular in the west? currently within music I haven’t noticed 🧐

and also with K-Pop, I thought NewJeans kinda started the Y2K trend within the new Gen… which other groups did it first 🧐

I don’t think NewJeans hopped on what’s trendy they were doing something fresh.

Songs idk but the concept is popular worldwide.

this stayc song might go viral on tiktok, i keep seeing edits with it

is really catchy

too bad it’s a Japanese song. poppy is addicting I hate when groups release better Japanese singles than Korean singles because they are payed dust.

I never understood people with this mindset, like it’s so weird?
And it’s mostly gay men who does this, cause I have noticed that female stans tend to be way more loyal compared to male stans? Maybe I’m capping though

Nope as I said multiple times in this thread and to you. If you want to talk about real accolade, and I told you multiple times, just stick to the critics who have real values in the music industries and not just journalists who are running after fans. Like Jung Minjae (editor in chief for IZM and actual part of the comittee for KMA's) has written a beautiful piece on TxT, or Kim Youngdae (also part of the comittee for KMA's) written several good pieces for TXT's.

But weirdly you never aknowledge those parts of the post. :matty:

What is wrong with liking new acts?. This 4th generation has proven to be very exciting and different from previous generations. You probably one of those really annoying online people that "don't get" why new acts like Billie Eilish or Lil Nas X are popular

Has the newest BlackSwan member been posted in this thread yet?

What really happened to Trainee A?

https://vt.tiktok.com/ZS8jhBGxj/

Bighit/HYBE canceled the Trainee A project and are now working in a new group with seven to nine members, a new concept, and new trainees.

Get in! It will be a watered down version (so only top 50 instead of top 100) cause I don't have too much time this year :cm:

If you aren’t one of those d!ck riding stans that doesn’t **** on previous girl groups every time a new girl group debuts, then it doesn’t apply to you.

Stream Lovely btw!

That article from Rolling Stone Korea about the K-pop rock revival was pretty good tho. They mentioned multiple groups there but said that TXT were one year ahead of the trend which is literally a fact.

White Fox (NewJeans) wouldn't be successful if they debut with SM, let's be real

The GP has a hate-bone for SM groups, none of them had instant success upon debut and all of their girlgroups got malicious scandals before debut (check SNSD, RV and aespa's comments when they first debuted, chile...) :deadbanana2:

sure

Pentagon did rock music even before that. And if we had to be technical too (g)i-dle had the first 4th gen Y2K hit with uh oh.

uh oh? that sounded more hip-hop influenced imo

doing something =/= turning it into a trend

is newjeans not starting a new trend? if it’s not apparent now it will be next year I bet more groups are gonna do the same concept.

twice made the cute concept popular

blackpink made girl crush popular

newjeans made y2k concept popular

thats just what happens every gen…

Hybe made the right call by not going ahead.

they were all average at best (visually and In talent) and at least now they’ll avoid any controversy considering one the members was openly rapping about murdering women in one of his songs (a terrible one at that)

I’m sure hybe will utilise one of a few for a new project or even push them for boysplanet in feb.
