JYP wanted to serve something different after the international reception to Sneakers was so terrible(I quite like the song tbh, I've heard worse from ITZY) but they should've waited more. Releasing so early was a mistake, give their fanbase some time

ZOOM could have been a debut title for a 5 member SMNBG with hot adult members and a cvnty concept or they could have kept it for ADSPA’s comeback as a title track.

at this point I wouldn’t count Itzy and GIdle as 4th gen 

they are more 3.5gen, 4th gen groups who debuted this year are kinda different from them both and I would say real generation switch just happenned with 3rd gen visible decline (especially in Korea) and 4th gen blow up this year

and if YG keep postponing them they might skip 4th gen whatsoever and make baby monsters one of the first 5th gen groups so that they could mediaplay them being "trendsetters" and "start of a new era"

But where does Adspa stand? Even if IVE is getting closer in term of physicals sales, Aespa still lead there and they still have the biggest fandom
