I won't even mention streams on global platforms, in case you will feel ashamed as your faves streams barely make up 1% of what BTS pulls during their underperformance. I also won't mention exaggerated US popularity where supposed "Next BTS" barely has any growth from one comeback to another and falls off after spending 6 weeks on BB200. Even TXT spends double as much time there with EP. As for J-hope, he didn't sweep anything. He won special award just like Zico and MAMA is very generous with those special awards. MAMA didn't snub Crush. He only had one release this year - Rush Hour and it was nominated for Best Collab but PSY x SUGA rightfully won over. Best Hip-Hop went to Jay Park x IU. J-hope didn't win any main category. But BTS swept and got you crying as they should. Your faves can try their fate in 2023 if they can compete with BTS maknae line and Yoongi that is.

Xalric Posted December 1, 2022 Posted December 1, 2022 JYP still buying awards Not Xdinary Heroes pulling the "judges votes" The only other category where the Judge votes didn't go with the total score was for AOTY and even that the scores were not that big of jumpe.

Moon Posted December 1, 2022 Posted December 1, 2022 They're retired already in most peoples minds after this tour so if they end up announcing another era in 2023/2024 it's gonna be a gag no matter how much the 4th gen girls have advanced by then. Maybe papa ratgee has realized they won't be independent from BP anytime soon even if Baemon and their rumored group power of 10 Jennies () go after NewJennie wigs right away. Or they just had 2 extra spots and didn't know how to fill it up LMAO I remember when the Square project had to have 4 releases which ended up in a debut album that never happened. But these types of visual marketing rarely have unplanned/random elements, at least it's all *supposed* to mean something, cause they know stans analyze everything. Also I just realized BP are the only YG kpop group that never lost a member and/or suffered decline (yet), instead they keep getting more profitable and they're on their 7th year . Karma just keeps sending that trash label signals, but there's nobody to see them.
illia Posted December 1, 2022 Posted December 1, 2022 rewatching Cheshire MV and omg Ryujin is so beautiful... short hair suits her much more than long hair
Adama Posted December 1, 2022 Posted December 1, 2022 Red velvet and Itzy comeback flopping in SK despite them having a hit this year . Anyways do we have news about Newjeans pre release? 1 hour ago, Moon said: They're retired already in most peoples minds after this tour so if they end up announcing another era in 2023/2024 it's gonna be a gag no matter how much the 4th gen girls have advanced by then. You know damn well that BTS didn’t deserve all these Daesangs this year, especially with the musical output they have put out as a group this year. Like they only released a compilation album with like 35 of their old songs and yet somehow they are winning “Album of the year” Armys are truly delusional as always Nobody is saying that SKZ or any other Kpop act are bigger than BTS. BTS are the biggest Kpop act of all time, like WE GET IT. And yet you Armys are so insecure every time another group achieves something big internationally And I find it funny how you only came for SKZ cause my post was literally mentioning how BLACKPINK was the biggest Kpop act this year, and how unfair it was that they haven’t received even 1 Daesang this year or throughout their whole career But you know better than to mention BLACKPINK I will give you that, cause you damn well they STOMPED on BTS this year Btw, the reason why BTS won Daesangs like “Artist of the year” was due to the judge panel wanting to kiss their ass and suck their dxcks, since they are “the biggest Kpop act of all time”. IVE and SKZ were literally leading in that award, until the judge panel gave in their 2 cents Btw SKZ only had 2 comebacks this year, with their latest album selling over 3 million copies which only had 3 versions Edited December 1, 2022 by Pluto2022

It just got overshadowed by Christmas music and all the year-end music shows. Birthday would do so much better if it's released in the summer

Pluto6 Posted December 1, 2022 Posted December 1, 2022 (edited) Happy 1 Year anniversary to the best Kpop song of all time that kinda got overshadowed by IVE’s debut. It also marks the 1 year anniversary of Everglow’s hiatus The way EVERGLOW’s last comeback was on the same day as IVE‘s debut. Somehow these 2 groups couldn’t coexist cause once IVE arrived, EVERGLOW went completely N/A Edited December 1, 2022 by Pluto2022
Cotton Posted December 1, 2022 Posted December 1, 2022 Maybe the World Cup had a bigger effect than I assumed it would nn anyway Birthday flopping is no surprise to me (it sucks ass) but we’ve been round this block before. They’ll bounce back as always in 2023

Only like two music show performances confirmed? Not even a slot on Wendy’s radio show. Like this is crazy what was the point of coming back
