I just predict each comeback to be worse and worse and lack quality. Just compare Flip That and Luminous to their earlier releases…

they way Hula Hoop alone ate all their 2020-2022 title tracks up

Cocona is one of the best 4th gen rappers

Loona has to be the most wasted group ever. Imagine peaked with your pre-debut songs, being one of the most hyped groups and now they’re pretty a nugu group with a loud fandom. It’s just upsetting because they had everything to become successful. :rip:

The hype only ever existed on twitter. They suffered from garnering an audience of international teens/tweens who didn't understand the kpop industry and grossly overestimated their career prospects(this happened to a huge chunk of 3rd gen groups too).

A lot of them were success stans who fell off as they realized that they weren't popular in the real world.

It wasn’t his decision to leave Loona btw, BBC sucks and didnt want lore based comebacks anymore so they split ways. Once a company doesn’t want his work anymore he’s let go and hired by another company, he’s an employee, that’s how it works. Orbits have it confused thinking he has more power than he does. He’s just a creative director.

He's now a CEO so I'm expecting flowers and rainbow

I dont feel sad for Chuu cuz she can be even bigger without Loona.

@Pluto any chances YG might snatch Chuu and debut her again in Baemon with Garam?

Chuu has her own company I think, but we definitely need YG messy ass to snatch Garam, and re-debut her in Baemon

I had my first Kpop dream, where Jisoo is the only member who won't renew her contract, omg :dancehall3: I better not be psychic or anything, or I'm gonna be pissed :tsk:

The way NuguJeans lowkey outdid NewJennies in their own concept I fear. Sometimes the copycat does it better :michael:

whoever has been picking the title tracks for JYP groups has been dropping the ball.

Now why IVE have the weakest vocals of all the recently debuted groups?

Not just recently debuted groups, but they have the weakest vocals out of all 4th gen actually:rip: But it's not all about the vocal skill, but also more about the vocal tone. For example, Jihyo is the best vocalist of TWICE, but her vocal tone is not my cup of tea, while Momo has my favorite vocal tone of TWICE :rip:

Btw, most of these idols can actually hold a tone and are better singers than the average person you find on the street, which is why groups like IVE etc. are able sound good in the studio. Cause no amount of editing and autotune can save an actual tone-deaf person's voice.

Loona had like 0 chance of getting a hit and it was obvious since the moment Hi High dropped. See, Back in 2018 there was only Twice, RV, BP, Mamamoo getting hits, on top of that Gfriend and AoA were having final hits with TFTM and BB respectively, and Momoland had their one era wonder moment. No idol was getting a hit back then and ofc they wouldn't be the exception, the only groups that were close to getting big hits in that year were Idle and Oh My Girl, everyone else just even didn't crack Gaon's top 100.

The way people talk about Loona here they should have disbanded 2 eras ago. I always thought they were somewhat successful.

I did too since Paint That Town looked like it did well. I like Hula Hoop a lot. It seems like Flip That was a moderate success too.
