 Armys of course side with TXT, which is why they also hate on SKZ, but their hate on SKZ got even bigger, once SKZ became huge, due to Armys being insecure, just like how they hate on Blackpink.  When SKZ got their 1st #1 on BB200, the Armys trended a hashtag saying it was fraud etc. and were literally gatekeeping Billboard 

I remember I read somewhere that TXT used to have slight edge over SKZ when it came to digital in Korea where some of their title tracks managed to chart on the lower half of the Melon Top 100. But in general both (and 4th gen bg tbh) are digital flop in Korea so I found their fanwars was lowkey funny. Stray Kids are definitely bigger overall so Moas will keep losing.

 

Lowkey surprised to see the Engenes were not part of OSKZH like their fave are part of the biggest 4th gen bgs trinity right now.

For everyone that forgot, between the period of Blackpink's debut and aespa's debut, the only girl group debut that did anything was Iz*one.  And it's not like those otakus grew out of it.

Harry. Idle, Fromis and Itzy all debuted between that time frame... what do you mean only Izone were the only ones doing anything.

Only debut to do anything, because of their fandom power.  fromis' debut was as floppy as their show. And while Griddle's debut was a relative success, it was a success that got phase-shifted by the rise of Pentagon, and fell just as quickly with the Pube scandals.  Not sure why it took hours for anyone to mention Itzy.  Anyway, the point is Iz*one was a big deal, and the two principle members have the fans that do bot-like things, as was demonstrated in court.

From like a viewpoint of maximizing earnings... Cube handled this the best way possible, letting Soojin dig her own grave and then publically kicking her out is literally the only reason why (G)I-DLE is a top GG rn, despite them being otherwise inept with the functions of a company managing their group. Matter of fact, I don't think they expected this reaction towards (G)I-DLE after the bullying scandal at all, I think they just struck Gold by chance in terms of handling the situation

 

Neither Tomboy, nor Nxde would have hit it as big if Soojin was still in the group. Same goes to Anti-Fragile and Le Sserafim, Hybe has been following the Cube Print in handling the controversy very closely and it worked out perfectly as well. If the Korean public has made their decision on your character, and it's negative, your group is f*cked unless they publically sacrifice you. And I honestly think that there are gonna be a lot new groups from bigger companies that will purposefully try to recreate a scandal like this (matter of fact, I think Hybe orchestrated this and sacrificed Garam on purpose, despite them knowing about her past)

Fun Fact about I-DLE, Soyeon said cube rejected most of their most successful songs

Hann was rejected from their debut album but made it as a digital single.
Hwa, Tomboy & Nxde were all not accepted by cube at first. She had to defend the songs and concept.

 

can you guess which song cube pushed Soyeon to write and gave her the sample to use, the members even almost didn't do it on their tour because they simply don't like the song that much...
