I like the positions part in kpop because it helps me differentiate the members more easily. But I guess nowadays, the labels made it as a marketing tool. Because if they do not give away their group's positions, the stans tend to give more attention to the group. They watch their videos more to analyze them to check for themselves who is the really best at what. And stans get to theorize about their positions, which only gives the group more attention in the end. Plus, internal conflict within the stan base can be avoided since it is very common for stans to fight about members' positions.
Blank Space Posted November 6, 2022 Posted November 6, 2022 (edited) the idea of a group with no official positions is forward-thinking, and it works for groups that are well-rounded in every area like txt, so they can switch positions every comeback and the members also get more equal parts in the songs but it doesn't work for every group. It's thinking forward to where the only position you need is ig model.
harrythevifan Posted November 6, 2022 Posted November 6, 2022 But really, it's all about the dancing.

illia Posted November 6, 2022 Posted November 6, 2022 Kazuha singing Yunjin's first lines took me off-guard her singing voice is kinda decent though, if she practices more and gets proper training she would become a great vocalist

I know Chaewon was never in the Top 12 before finale but she’s the type of contestant who will benefit with the single choice vote cause at the finale, viewers can only vote for 1 people and she has many solo stans. I suspected Chaeyeon (12th place) tho. And probably one of the Japan girls except Sakura Minju and chaewon were the only one who never made it to the top 12 during the show. Nako and hitomi, chaeyeon had screen times and story lines through out the show. I remember people were surprised that chaewon made it because she was just always there and never had a story line or a lot of screen time. Edited November 6, 2022 by newuser
the good guy_duh Posted November 6, 2022 Posted November 6, 2022 Kazuha is slaying Eunchae ate up those lines too
