Bullying scandals, mitm, uninteresting contents that ugly summer song, drastic concept changes after wannabe, notshy itself killed the hype for me for Itzy. Loco was great for me and one of my most listened kpop songs that year but it wasnt something interesting or better than wannabe. I am so mad how they played their cards so wrong after wannabe

Let’s be real the big 3 agency’s definitely care about hits. Maybe not for the boy groups but 100% for their girl groups. They’re not debuting avant garde artists who aim for quality and critical acclaim above all else. They’re debuting commercial groups for the grand public that can make them money ultimately.
