the 1M sales snatch look more of a fraud with 20M streams opening week.

 

BP always have ORGANIC streams to back-up their sales.

Give it some time, just like all their other records were collected. They’ll always have a high sale ratio on the album considering it contains ~1/4 of their entire discography. It’s like Lauryn Hill’s high album sales because she only has one

 

In 7 years and ~40 songs their albums contain almost half of their entire discography. It’s only natural that they’ll have higher sales

Thank you for documenting aespa’s record breaking sales. Maybe black pink girls can go collab with Taylor and Beyoncé(the only remaining main girls they havent) and prop those sales up a little higher next time.

almost 2 million album sales with 20M opening week is laughable

 

let's not act like BP didnt sell a physical copy of How You Like That before their record breaking The Album

 

starving your fans or limiting your album release wont magically make your album sales to 3 million.

 

Let other groups comeback after 2 years of hiatus and they will be forgotten.

TWICE have sold 13M albums. That’s almost a western recording artist level globally. BLACKPINK haven’t even touched half of that in pure sales, so I wouldn’t compare their album sales. Moreover 1.5M of those albums came from QQ, which makes it worse when IFPI reported the album at 1.5M and blinks were claiming 3M due to bulk-bought Chinese sales for like $1. It’s giving Big Bong sold 75M albums and 30M MADE albums level of delusion

 

The only time they could sell that much was when it was unregulated and I’m curious how Tencent’s crackdown on bulk buying is going to impact their sales overall
