Never got why people always act like Forever Young and Lovesick Girls are better or above the noise singles

On the contrary, they're even worse and are aging worse, encapsulating the bottom of the barrel generic EDM sound fad of the 2010s

Playing With Fire is the only EDM single of theirs that aged well

WhatFY is the worst noise they've ever released, the drop is unbearable. At least DDDD, KTL, HYLT and PV last choruses are interesting because they bring something new to the table. They could have kept that song in the CL's demo vault.

Kinda tragic how Brave Daddy really tried to give them listenable music, actual good music but it jut didn't workat all. Noise is the main seller.

SM is getting dumped from the company because he's ruining the acquisition deal with Kakao probably...

 

He's been the reason the acquisition offers by Naver and CJ E&M also failed. He's been quite vocal about wanting to stay in the company/retain creative control over everything, so this is interesting. Looks like he's being pushed out. That and/or some more of his dodgy tax and company contract activities are about to get revealed...

I haven't heard the latest is, but ever since those other LSM paper companies like Like Planning were discovered, there has been increasing conflict between Lee Sooman and the other shareholders in SMEnt who want their profits, too.  And Lee Sooman's attempt to "sell" his shares to CJ/Naver/Kakao/whatever seems more about diluting the voting power of those other shareholders.  That he's agreeing to shut down.m4a this company is most likely a condition to advance the sale of his shares as a way to show nothing hinky is going on, despite it being hinky from the jump.
