yeah its safe to say IVE surpassed aespa for now

Wonyoung seems untouchable currently

The only reason some people refused to believe that IVE surpassed aespa is the fact that IVE is from non big3.

we never had a current top girl group that are from non big3. Sistar and miss a lacked album sale, Tara had their scandal while they were growing.

Starship seems to accept every brands for her. I wonder if she’s really expensive

very excited to see how NewJeans' first comeback does and if they will really be IVE's competition! :gaycat:

Excited for their music and concept direction. Minji hinted Christmas comeback. They will most likely do first comeback in December during SMTM + Christmas songs massacre. :rip:

Everglow is clearly over:rip: there's literally no point in them existing as a group, mediocre sales, no hits, no one is here for them, they've failed to grow in a market that's exponentially growing every year, so, clearly they are better off disbanding.

What :rip: Their songs get millions of streams on YouTube and Spotify. Yes they're not big in Korea but they can go on global headlining tours and get streaming hits, there's still a reason for them to exist. It's 2022, you don't have to be a success in Korea to have success in K-Pop.

Don't idol groups usually avoid coming back at this time cause they don't really get considered for award shows either :rip: It's over

Tbh I have to agree, they have the streams but that's really only from casual fans and it's not translating into their sales. They lack the dedicated fanbase KPOP acts of their stature (at least WW) usually have and they kinda remind me of CLC in this way :rip: Everyone was streaming their music and talking about how underrated they are but no one was BUYING the music.

WJSN aren't popular internationally but do WAY better in sales which is what ultimately makes money for the company. They need to fix that somehow & comeback regularly.....or they're gonna get lost in the sea of rising 4th gen groups. They already are, tbh.

y’all worry about Christmas release but y’all forgot about Psycho. :skull: I don’t think it will be Christmas release for NWJNS because it will be an old school hip hop mini album with one Christmas b-side. :nicole2:

eleven did great too, the timing isn’t important when you’re huge. NJ Will be fine.

Watched Yuri's new variety on Disney+ In The Zone and it's funny, light and entertaining.
To be recommended personally by Yoo Jae Suk is a testament of how big her potential is in the variety sector. The way SNSD really has all the arsenal of talents, and acknowledged by leading people in the field, no wonder they lasts this long and thrive individually.

Also it's almost certain Yoona's movie will pass 1 million admission in just 3 days. On track to pass 10 million, hopefully they can come close or even surpass The Roundup.

If they were as successful as you want to believe the group wouldn't be on a crisis as we speak, there's a reason the comebacks aren't more frequent and YouTube ads aren't a metric of success.

I was about to bring up CLC and WJSN but honestly they are flop 3rd gen groups that debuted before the rising of BTS and BP, and honestly only big 3 groups were selling, getting streams and hits, nowadays, everyone can get sales however WJSN managed to rise somehow, but CLC was a lost cause ever since Hobgoblin came and didn't get them any sales.

And I love how SONE supports all members. If you look at BP their fans are always in competition over what member is more popular. :rip:

that's literally how groups are promoted after their boom SNSD did the same, apink too and all the groups that got popular. The difference with twice is they got chill later and it was just the first years when they were literally everywhere :giraffe:

Aespa over?

Sure jan, and to all these ive bandwagoners ch... I want to see yall reaction when they pull t-ara, they are not from big 3, so good luck with that...im saying this because t-ara was so massive back then but destroyed with one single scandal, wonyoong and yujin are known to have no so good attitude its just a matter of time until they got exposed, they better not treat liz like an outcast because of her weight.. She might pull a hwayong and exposed the group/company

Sm/yg are strong in mediaplay and when they feel thraten they will pull all the stops, but you cant destroy them with scandal,  they can getaway with it.. Bigbang,  irene... They are still strong standing...

But if youre not from big 3? T-ara ot... G-idle out.... Le serafim out....

The problem with ive is that if they lose wy or yujin they basically lost the group.
