She knows the folkmore shtick has been one and done and people love it, there's really not much more she can explore that far beyond without losing the mainstream appeal she has, Swifties have to be reminded that FolkMore was NOT something Taylor originally planned in her career and was brought about out of external circumstances e.g. COVID 19, its just a detour sonically. Midnights was lowkey a cash in on how much hype and goodwill she built from FolkMore and Fearless + RED TV and reminding the world that she's still THE pop star. Its a cute album sure, but its clear this wasn't on the level of inspiration something like 1989 had. So with all that being said, it makes sense she'd want to lengthen this period of her career. She knows this IS the biggest she's ever been and its not only because of well calculated moves, part of it is also just a stroke of luck. No other popstar of her caliber is as active as she is, transitioned sounds to something that was both fanbase + GP accepted and just luck. It makes sense she'd spread out the TVs because not only are they making her so much money by giving her catalog so much new life into them, they're also lengthening her imperial phase by making her fans constantly at fever high hype to see how she re-do's 6 albums all already loved by a majority of her millions of fans. I can see the TVs lasting all the way until 2026 tbh, especially if she ends up releasing 1989 TV late this or early next year, then end of 2024 is dominated by TS11 then 2025 gets Rep TV and that Searchlight film she's contracted to do. It makes sense commercially that she'll give Rep and debut the biggest time to breathe and be semi bigger eras since those 2 are probably the most looked down upon projects she's done pre-Lover. Anyways sad to say sis but I feel like we're gonna have to endure 2-3 more years of TV before its a clean reset. Though I can see her end of next year teasing a reinvention. With the world finally shedding off the last of the COVID scars and it eventually becomes part of daily norm, parties and touring at a fever pitch and Taylor's performance skills actually FINALLY serving cvnt it would be remiss to not give us the long awaited dance album. A well written heartbreaking dance floor banger album would KILL europe and asia! Edited June 27, 2023 by MingYouToo

But as someone who appreciates history and has experienced first-hand a society in collective grief and trauma, it’s so deeply soul-crushing and captures the fight for survival and the psychological coping so well Never heard another song about that before. gworl there's a new trend on tiktok of swifties using epiphany as a cvnty song, when she sings 'with you i SERVE' they start posing i cant help but serve face and cvnt listening to it now 1
MingYouToo Posted June 27, 2023 Posted June 27, 2023 (edited) The biggest downfall of the Lover era was the fact that emotionally Taylor was at her highest but creatively at her most bankrupt. The complete throughline of that era was basically the anti-Reputation. Just push out an album that erases the dark **** Reputation did with zero cohesion. The songs sonically made zero connections, you had a Jazz number, a 1989 banger reject, then a country pop bop, then a horror chanty ballad about friendship and a wedding classic like-? Thematically, it also made zero sense. Sure the social activism represented who she was but the Lover part of it all was too weak to be felt. The title track, London Boy, Paper Rings, Daylight, Cornelia St. and Afterglow are the only Lover-esque tracks. The social activism tbh should've just been a meta narrative, we didn't need her to sing that 'shade never made anybody less gay' song. Edited June 27, 2023 by MingYouToo 1

vale9001 Posted June 27, 2023 Posted June 27, 2023 (edited) Thanks god Loser flopped and only 2 good songs on it (CS and Lover) are the ones becaming classics. We can't forget about the rest without all the overthinking about how this cringey album would have been performed. We are lucky another cheesy love album didn't became big on radios and instead she switched to the folkmore reinventation finally give her a serious and more adult image, something makes her biggest than ever. Loser would have been a good album released at 22 not 29. If now her new kids fans are rediscovering it good but we don't need it as her primary work for the GP when she's 34. There are swifties asking for Paper rings on radios Edited June 27, 2023 by vale9001 1 1
