State of Grace. Posted May 10, 2022 Posted May 10, 2022 Kevin Parker being the next Jack/Aaron would actually ERASE folkmore.

Rep/1989 vault tracks holding the pop stans down until TS11, and TS10 being a psychedelic experimental masterpiece is the ultimate concept.

Delusional Posted May 10, 2022 Posted May 10, 2022 When everyone thought Lover would be a double album because her hair was sometimes blue and sometimes pink

Aiya Posted May 10, 2022 Posted May 10, 2022 Red TV was basically double album. 1989 deserved to be one too. TS 10 needs to be new sound but imo her doesn’t fit for jazz.
Squall Posted May 10, 2022 Posted May 10, 2022 She needs to go down the pop/rock road. I love Olivia and SOUR but I mean in a more mature way. Maybe something close to HTE/I Know The End.
witness1.3 Posted May 10, 2022 Posted May 10, 2022 TS10 should go in the direction of HAIM Women In Music and Aly & AJ a touch of the beat
Cleanromantic Posted May 10, 2022 Posted May 10, 2022 I don't want anything like Sour since Sour is basically a Taylor/Paramour tribute album .
Cleanromantic Posted May 10, 2022 Posted May 10, 2022 1989 ranking: Rank Song 1 Blank Space 2 Clean 3 Style 4 I Wish You Would 5 Out Of The Woods 6 New Romantics 7 This Love 8 Wildest Dreams 9 You Are In Love 10 All You Had To Do Was Stay 11 Wonderland 12 Welcome To New York 13 I Know Places 14 Shake It Off 15 How You Get The Girl 16 Bad Blood
TaylenaStan Posted May 10, 2022 Posted May 10, 2022 Omg yes a Tame Impala'd psychedelic rock album is my new dream TS10 I genuinely belive that her voice would fit such a concept Also seems like a good progression from folkmore era But i have a feeling shes gonna go back to a big pop era to accompany her tour in 2023

Not here for her going into that route now, especially after Future Nostalgia. Rock album it is. Would also be more of a natural progression from folkmore than disco. you can have this..

Cleanromantic Posted May 10, 2022 Posted May 10, 2022 I Wish You Would is the most underrated song in her discography. It adheres to the 80s sound the most of any song on the album, it has the most adventurous structure on 1989, it has her iconic second double chorus, it's catchy, the "I I I I Wish I Wish I" part is so euphoric, the bridge is great, "Stand back where you stood" is one of the best lyrics she's ever written...

I agree, its top 5 on the album to me The fact that she did that in 2014 and everyone else started copying the 80s sound in the last 2-3 years Truly ahead of her time.. and it stayed more true to the 80s sound than a lot of those 80s inspired tracks that came out in the last 2-3 years

It should be enough for GP.
Virgos Groove Posted May 10, 2022 Posted May 10, 2022 We need an arena-rock album full of songs like State of Grace. U2-inspired.

AM98GJ Posted May 10, 2022 Posted May 10, 2022 I know she looks at what we say on different platforms - she knows we want dream pop/rock
