Speak Now is not going to hurt Cruel Summer. Not even a little bit

Also the other way around. Lack of promo can hurt Speak Now, but Cruel Summer going strong on radio and streaming has nothing to do with Speak Now. It's a problem if she expects to have a hit out of it but I don't think that's the case. Speak Now is all about the physical copies it can move and the first week hype on streaming (that's why all the presales are between July 7th and July 13th).

anti hero is not in the top 20 of her best songs cause it's on her top 10.

It’s not even in her top 10 best songs to peak in the top 2 on the Hot 100.

the way Sparks Fly, Back to December, Dear John, Last Kiss, Long Live were once all HUGE fan favorites and now it's barely known by the TikTok swifties :dies: imma need her to go hard on the Peak Now TV promo

“Going hard” on SNTV promo does not seem particularly likely, but I have faith that the album will smash on its own merits.

I still can’t get over what an insult the Speak Now segment of the tour was. Like, even just throwing in a 90 second intro of Sparks Fly before Enchanted and a 90 second outro of Haunted or Long Live would have improved it.

I get that the Eras Tour was for the gp, but I need her to do it again for the stans someday when she’s not quite so popular and fill the setlist with all the beloved deep cuts instead of just using the old hits to counter-balance the “current” album tracks. Like I went to the 1989 Tour, but missed the Speak Now Tour, so guess which album I’d rather see prioritized in a future setlist? The one I haven’t already seen.

If she doesn't change the setlist of the tour when SN(TV) drops i'll sue her ass for false advertisement or something

Like we NEED to hear Sparks Fly, BTD, Mine, Dear Jhon, LastKiss, LONG LIVE! live once again in PRODUCTION

Just realized Speak God STILL has more Grammys than oveRhypED.:coffee:

Fearless remains stale and even Debut leaves it in the dust.

last time I checked Fearless doesn’t have a song as good as Teardrops, Our Song, Cold As You, OR as ELECTRIC as Picture to Burn:jonny6:

I was once in the same rut as you now are, but then the TMW-YNS-TWILY-F&A run clicked and I saw the light!

The 1-2-3 punch of YNS-TWILY-F&A especially is out of this world. :jonny5:

Just like Lover, there’s a good album in Red, just need to trim the excess

Correct. Those two albums need a trim and could actually survive a trim. Can't say the same for Reputation.... that would turn it into an EP

Nothing on Red is as offensively bad as the lows on Lover. Asking for Red to be cut is basically just asking to have less Taylor Swift music in your life. Can't relate! I love my 32 track magnum opus (I added Eyes Open and Safe & Sound to mine when they were released) :heart2:

And thank god for that. I'm tired of controversies this year already and we've really only had one!

I still don't think anything specific even happened between them.

Red (Scooter's Version standard) is perfect from beginning to end, even with the less than good songs (SSS, TLT, EHC) :heart2:

Her being on tour is the best promo we could ask for. SN TV will be fine

Agree. Also we'll have a music video and the international leg's presale to boost the streams. But we also need signed copies, her social media becoming Speak Now themed and all that.

Imagine coming for Fearless, probably the most immaculately conceived country-pop album of all time, literally banger after banger.

The shameless lack of taste.

Right?

Fearless, Fifteen, Love Story, White Horse, YBWM, Breathe, Tell Me Why, You're Not Sorry, TWILY, F&A, The Best Day, CIWTR, TOSOTD, TWAF, YAOM, MPF are all excellent.

Untouchable and Hey Stephen are the only duds. The rest is at least good.

The Best Day, YAOM and MPF excellent but Untouchable a dud? :rip:

One thing we’re not gonna do is come for Fearless, which is top 5 in her discography. For an era that ultimately gave us 26 songs, only 4 of them aren’t up to par. Red simply can’t relate to that kind of consistent quality.

Yes! Look it up. :coffee2:

Also, only real ones know that Red is not top 5 in her discography.
