Well go start the viral tik tok trend.

Need some show to do for Dress what Heartstopper did for all these second-tier lord songs.

I would if I had TikTok clout. But people only like cheesy shite.

False God and Dress are too good for that audience.

This Love, one of the least relevant tracks on 1989 OG, doing all this is promising. Those Dead stans who genuinely believe 1989 isn't going to stomp all over it are not ready :skull:

Yeah, I wasn't convinced because there's nothing that could challenge ATW10 but This Love is literally one of the least streamed tracks from 1939 :rip: The hype is through the roof

When it ends up being her biggest album release this decade. Fad of 2014 indeed

I just had to pop in here to say that this ***** is a lyrical mastermind.  Like, sometimes I hear a line from her and have to google it because it's so brilliant I assume she's quoting Shakespeare or something, but no, it's a TS original.  She really is THAT *****.

Like "the monsters turned out to be just trees."  LIKE.  LIKE.  The imagery.  The symbolism.  The way she tells an entire epic with just eight words.

"They say all's well that ends well but I'm in a new hell every time you double cross my mind"

"I could build a castle out of all the bricks they threw at me"

"In the end in Wonderland we both went mad"

"I think I've seen this film before so I'm leaving out the side door"

She's just INCREDIBLE.  I'm so glad she has become a legend to Gen Z and is so widely respected across all industries and genres.  I can't wait for 1989 TV and Speak Now TV.

But I knew you'd linger like a tattoo kiss

I knew you'd haunt all of my what-ifs

I mean who the **** think like this ? She HAS to be some kind of a lyrical SAVANT :skull:

I am sometimes seriously scared of her :skull:

Remind me again why Taylor's country accent magically disappeared during the Red era? Watching her old interviews and hearing her speak yee-haw is so jarring :deadbanana:

Same, right now I prefer a tour over any re-recording or new album. I hope she comeS to Spain like she was going to do with the Lover fest but if not, now that I have ended college and start to work I am willing to travel to London or Dublin

Cause she was faking it the whole time :gaycat6:

Mother is from ******* Pennsylvania, which is not a place where people speak with that accent. There are stories from kids at her middle school of her practicing the accent at lunch in preparation of her move, so she could blend in and seem more country to all the industry people she was hoping to meet. I assume she did it often enough that it became natural, but the minute she didn't need the accent to boost her career she dropped it real quick :deadbanana2:

Maybe I'd respect pRep if they put that energy into streaming. For now, they're the Kats/Liddos of the fanbase. All talk, no supporting their fave :giraffe:

Also, let's not talk about insecurity when a certain someone saw that Loser returning to the top 50 thread and rushed to make 2 threads about pRep :giraffe:

She dropped that accent during Fearless :bibliahh:

Actually, if you watch debut era interviews and then interviews for Fearless and Speak Now, you would notice how different she talked during each one.

Like her debut accent made her sound very uncouth and irreverent, but during Fearless she sounded so upper class and polished, and the country accent was completely gone, and then during Speak Now she talked like an Ivy leagues student, and she sounded poised and level-headed.

I don't think the accent was a carefully calculated career move, she was 14/15/16 when she started and she probably was just playing dress up.

:bibliahh:

Mess. If she spends any more time in London, she'll start speaking with a British accent.
