Are you telling me that not only it is boring, but also that it is about this man? :deadbanana4:

yall are doing Inncent so wrong, i literally don't care that it's relater to K***e, the overall message of still being innocent depsite going through something that left a mark is very powerful to me, and sonically is good too

Yes! I never associate it with Kanye's ugly mug lol it's a great song on it's own

Girl did you not know this :deadbanana4:

The whole point of the song is her thumbing her nose at him and infantilising him and talking down to him like he's still an innocent child :deadbanana4:

That's half the reason why I love it so much, because she's dragging him in a way that superficially seems to be understanding :deadbanana4:

I'm glad I'm not the only one who hears this :deadbanana4: the first time I heard the song I thought "oh she went THERE"

Some of the lines really come across as "awwww, poor grown man ******* up so royally! If you were still a little kid you could get away with behaviour like this. Life was sooo easy back when you were a kid, and now it's hard, huh?" It's so condescending in the best way possible, especially since it's literally right after Better Than Revenge on the tracklist nnnnn

Spoiler

Wasn't it easier in your lunchbox days?
Always a bigger bed to crawl into
Wasn't it beautiful when you believed in everything
And everybody believed in you?

Wasn't it easier in your firefly-catching days?
When everything out of reach
Someone bigger brought down to you
Wasn't it beautiful running wild 'til you fell asleep
Before the monsters caught up to you?

It's okay, and life is a tough crowd
Thirty-two and still growing up now
Who you are is not what you did
You're still an innocent

Time turns flames to embers
You'll have new Septembers
Every one of us has messed up, too, ooh
Minds change like the weather
I hope you remember
Today is never too late to be brand new, oh

I think it's totally easy to just listen to the song and see it as a gracious acknowledgement of his apology or whatever, but I've always taken it in a bitchy way lol

Nnnn drag me :deadbanana4:

Since I don't like the sound of the song I never paid attention to the lyrics. At least knowing that and reading the lyrics redeems the song a little for me.

Still wouldn't play it willingly though

Yeah, me too. I thought only the US would have had absolutely crazy demand, but with the LATAM dates it's very clear it's not the case. Now I wonder if I'll have to go through the same kind of craze for the European dates.

And I'm only a fan since evermore, I can't imagine what it must be like for someone that have been a fan since 2012. :gaycat6:

The only hope I cling onto is that France being one of her weakest market, it should not be hell to get tickets (assuming she tours in France).

i'm hoping it won't be as crazy as we will probably have more dates but... it'll be worse than the coldplay mania for sure. and they did 4 dates in Barcelona. luckily, i was able to get 9 tickets for my friends so i hope i'll be able to at least get 1 or 2.

These are the countries that streamed midnights the most (excluding the US) on its release day. United Kingdom, Germany and Spain are secured in the tour i believe. all of my friends got really interested in Taylor the past year and many of them will try to get tickets. the thing is, i don't think i'll be able to cope with it if she comes to my country and i don't get tickets... anyways

I feel bad for the Philippines. I  don't see how she can tour there without a stadium . She would have to build a new stage and change all the choreography which won't be worth it financially.

I wish we had sum like this but proportional to population. Singapore the country, has the population of Washinton DC the city :rip: Sad she won't show pity to the Philippines & tour there tho :'( they really deserve it.

I hope she has several dates at the Indonesia or Malaysia stadiums so Filipinos can attend those concerts.

Same, if she comes to Spain and I don’t get tickets I fear for my health…by the way I realize Taylor is like 40 spots above Beyoncé in Spotify Spain despite she performed in Barcelona yesterday

While most fo the world never knew anything happened or moved on already earlier this week, the Buzzfeed writer who's been obsessively covering Taylor's recent fling declared her relationship "destroyed" today.

Y'all - today's article is over four thousand ******* words long, and it turns out she wrote pieces all the way back in 2016 defending Kim and Kanye during Snakegate, I'm screaming :gaycat6:  Some people just HATE to see Taylor even breathing I guess, the grip she has on these people :gaycat6:

The author is an OTH Harry Styles stan who frequents subreddits known for rampant Taylor hatred. Professional journalism at its finest!

Anyways, if Taylor Swift is over then how could Rock N Roll Hall of Fame inductee and Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award recipient Flava Flav be at her sold out stadium show in Detroit right now?
