Yeah Karma Remix and Hits Different are def gonna be doing big numbers first day. Their hype is actually pretty massive going by tik tok. I can see Snow on the Beach with More Lana doing pretty well too, probably slightly less than the other two but still good.

If AOTGYLB did 5.4M streams (and being difficult to find on Spotify) I think it's pretty much guaranteed that will be the worst case scenario. Now let's see how much more it does.

I don't think it will do 10 million tbh. I see 7-8 million at max.

Taylor is a sweet bun in her music and with her fans, but as a businesswoman she is a tyrant. I still remember how in Miss Americana she said that people would stop tolerating her at some point, because this is the reality of the music industry. And now she holds her place as the BEST in a stranglehold. The re-recordings helped her a lot of course, but she pushes herself hard to stay in focus without interruption. I still remember how their friendship with Olivia ended when she became her rival and not just a sweet fan like Conan. Somehow very quickly the thought that "Olivia will become the new Taylor" turned from a joke into a threat. I feel like if OR2 won't flop, she have the potential to become a new A+ pop star. Of course, Taylor's concrete place in the music industry will never be forgotten, but it's not enough for her to have a legacy. She wants to be in the spotlight for as long as possible and will desperately fight for attention in every way she can (even if it means dating one of the industry's most provocative men and fabricating a timeline that's not clear was she cheating or not).
No hate towards Taylor, I just admire her ability to keep the world in a chokehold lol.

Also, how we imagine now her albums release schedule with TS11 and other 3 re-recordings?

I would go with this:
2023 Q4 - 1989 TV 
2024 Q3 - TS11
2025 Q2 - Debut TV
2025 Q4 - rep TV

I feel like she wants to release a new album after every 2 re-recordings.
She may release rep tv this year though, but I just don't want to get it this early since it's my favourite album and I'm NOT Ready For It

Honestly this is something I love about her.  I feel like women are often expected to be gentile and nice in everything they do, to wait for their turn and now out gracefully…but she has never cared for that.  She is a nice, sweet person but is playing to win when she plays the game.

 

Honestly, I also think this “feud” with Olivia is birthed more out of the media and the public’s desire for there to be a feud than actual substance.

I think 1989 TV will be this fall or next spring (before the European tour dates). TS 11 will probably come in fall 2024 and  Rep + debut TV in 2025.

Hits Different should be the single to close out the Midnights era tbh, its just SO GOOD! 

 

I hate that Taylor has a habit of hiding her best gems deluxe tracks in her albums. First she hid New Romantics as a DISGUSTING target exclusive and now she's doing this once again!

 

New Romantics should be the 1989 TV lead single now that I think about it! Deserved Out of the Garbage Can's slot as 6th single!

I think Taylor interpersonally is genuinely a good person, but knows to put her firm foot down in business dealings and with  her career. I'm willing to bet the reality is that Taylor and Olivia still keep in contact and are probably friends irl and she gives advice to the teen. We all know Taylor has publicly called that women are allowed to coexist in this industry and I believe she believes that. But she also knows that publicly interacting with Olivia will create unnecessary tension to both her ('the next Taylor, move out Swifty!') and Olivia ('if she can't maintain SOURs success she's over! 1 era wonder!')'s music career.

 

That's probably why she cut contact and both her and Olivia's PR team probably agreed its for the best they stop publicly interacting at least until Olivia Rodrigo's image solidifies into a separate entity completely away from Taylor. Similar to how the media tried to pit early 2010s Ariana Grande against Mariah's legacy in her early years. Ariana constantly showed love to MC but eventually dipped and never said a word not until Ariana eventually became her own fully fledged iconic popstar with complete branding and sound. Then she and Mariah even collaborated
