Midnights is far and away the best of her pop albums and, even though I love reputation as an era and as an album, I understand that musically it is nowhere near Speak Now, Red, folklore, or evermore So while it would be high in my personal ranking, I can separate that from a little bit more of a general ranking of her discog where it’s in the bottom tier alongside Lover, 89, and Debut, with 89 mayyyybe edging up to like a mid tier just off the strength of its singles and its concise cohesion.
