I can't believe I'm agreeing with HIM, but he made several points. The only reason people care about that ugly man now is to virtue signal and because they've been waiting to hold something against Taylor for a long time, other wise they would've cancelled him months/ years ago instead of waiting to use what he did against her now. I know the cupcake swifties have no back bone (they're the kinds of people who would drag her for being a "capitalist" because she releases multiple versions while simultaneously buying every last version of her albums) but I truly wish they would unstan for real.

Except that Buzzfeed article no media outlet is talking about the disturbing things that man has done. They are reading "Taylor Swift is dating Matt Healy" and going: "Ok, who? Whatever." So there is no need to defend her from anything (at least yet). If some people are heavily offended they are free to leave but there is no need to be talking about this everyday since it's part of her private life and she will do whatever she wants.

Yeah at the time it felt oddly detached from the Taylor we had known from Fearless to 1989, but in hindsight like you said it’s just an all around smash, and somehow topples even 1989 as a more iconic era. 1989 is probably more legendary and she was WAY more visible, but for fans rep was a lot more rewarding of an era to make it through because it’s basically like a redemption arc and that’s a wonderful feeling.

There were months of silence between Look and the tour except for when she released those terrible flop second and third singles and I wouldn't call delicate becoming a moderate hit exciting either. The tour revived the era a bit but it was nowhere near the hype surrounding the Eras Tour. 1989 was her most exciting era, no competition.
