He produced Dawn FM with The Weeknd, although that project turned out to be a commercial dud

True but I think most of that album was produced in 2021.

I don't know anything about publishing deals or whatever but I doubt Max would turn down the offer to work with her especially when he has only to copy the old work for the re-recordings.

Can that MR.S confirm something?

I don't see her announcing anything until next month (13th?). The next thing we'll be getting is probably the Carolina track, and then a re-recording announcement. I highly doubt she's steering away from the usual rollouts for these re-recordings.

WE still got Met Gala on the 2nd if the rumours are true, and the 18th (?) for the doctor degreee :michael:

the demand for 1989 (TV) is insane, me fears :jonny5:

Is there anything in particular driving the surge for Blank Space? I wonder if this will end up forcing her hand like with Wildest Dreams. I feel like the whole purple heart emoji thing has been hinting at Speak Now, but again 1989 is getting attention, so I wouldn’t be surprised if she pivots to that if there’s not some issue with the Shake It Off lawsuit that makes it impossible for her to legally release.

It has had many viral sounds with it on Tiktok within the past 6 months.:gaycat6: It's just THAT good.

It will definitely be her signature song in a decade or so.

OT: Even though I would like TS10 asap I would like her to take the sweetest time with it and release the best album of her career. It's just that we need a confirmation of what's coming next.

Just highlights how the girls will literally make **** up to try to shade Taylor. I get why they’re mad - not everyone can be the biggest solo artist of all time in the US, but Taylor’s on track to have that title in the next few years.

I still can't believe that I lived through the 1989 era :jonny:. But wow, what a moment. I will never forget. A moment that is most pleasing to me in my career.

The summer leading up to the announcement with her discarding the red aesthetic and debuting the 1989 one with daily pap walks in New York. :jonny:the colorful crop tops and outfits replacing the 60s/50s red aesthetic.

The Shake it off/ album announcement. :jonny:

Out of the woods being released as a promo track. :jonny:

The week of Blank space release, the mv leaked in the morning on a Monday and she was forced to release it that evening. The way she was universally loved and untouchable for like a month after. :jonny:

The collectable Polaroid pictures. :jonny:

There was something happening everyday, she was ubiquitous. :jonny:

The wildest dreams MV. :jonny:

The jealousy it inspired in so many of her peers :bibliahh:.

I knew the day would arrive sis. This is the beginning of your indoctrination into The Church of Taylord. You’ll be converted just in time for TS10 (which will be rock)

I was listening to calm music, was adding like Vanessa Carlton and Alanis Morisette to my Spotify playlist and I thought "hmmm... doesn't Taylor have similar calm songs?" so I went to hear page, picked Lover album cause it has a pretty album cover and a lot of undiscovered album tracks and I picked "Daylight" cause it has a nice aesthetic name that would look cute on my Lastfm page and didn't think much of it. Fast forward, when the song came on, it had a lovely production but the lyrics grabbed my attention immediately afterwords. Hate to give her more streams on Spotify but I can't help it cause I need to scratch that itch of replaying the song over and over again in the future. A "Bam Bam" teas.

Same. I started stanning Taylor hard with 1989. Before that I would just use her hits and that's it. And even though I wasn't a fan of SIO, I was perched for the album and hearing 1989 in its entirety blew me away and made me stan :jonny5: I know places still my all time favorite.

I became a fan in mid-2015 after knowing almost nothing about Taylor or music in general beforehand. So  lucky I got to experience the last half of the 1989 era - everything felt so major. Every little action of hers felt like it rightfully belonged on the front page.

Even though I’d always played music and sung a lot on stage in my childhood, 1989 was the first album / piece of music that I truly loved and felt with every fiber of my being, and it’s still my favorite album to this day (only challenged by folklore)

Fans often talk about 1989-era Taylor as not being geniune or personal enough, but these were the exact reasons I fell in love with her and her music during that era. Compared to (what I viewed as) the average pop musician at the time, she seemed extremely humble, funny, sensitive and intelligent, and so did the music, contrary to what swifties claim these days.

The fact that she’s far from done yet is insane, she could very well do double the number of weeks when all is said and done in a decade or two.
