I have a lot of patience for her because I’ve always trained myself to just ignore her in between eras :rip:

Plus I’ve been really busy listening to the catalogues of everyone and building my Spotify library from scratch. I have been using the app for like 8 years but I never liked a single song on the platform :deadbanana2: So the past 6 months have been me going through and curating all my liked songs. I still have quite a ways to go. I don’t know what to do about her discography though — I own all the stolen versions via iTunes (and physical releases) so I don’t technically need them in my Spotify library. But songs like IKYWT, 22, and WANEGBT TV make me want the stolen versions in my library :rip:

Sameeee. This year I've been expanding my music knowledge. I've listened to hundreds of artists.

I dont listen to their entire catalogues tho. I don't have time for all that:rip:  Only their top 10 songs on Spotify and from there I decide if I'll give their entire discog a listen or no. 90% of them dont make the cut tho :dancehall2:

I never had a 2nd favorite artist until this year when I gave U2 a listen. :jonny6:

Girl, you should try and listen to their albums/deep cuts too :skull:

Thats like someone trying to get into Taylor and they give up after listening to ME!, Calm Down, Shake It Off, Bad Blood and WANEGBT

I said two things: one that I know is happening eventually (which I didn't comment on but people who were around the base in late 2020 might guess what is it) and one that was supposed to happen two weeks ago but couldn't happen because of world events (and this thing wasn't a surprise album drop and it isn't California). Separately from that, there's the asking for money thing.

And guys please don't quote or screencap the posts :rip: y'all are going to get me snatched.

We just have to wait I guess :gaycat5:

I was here in 2020, and I can’t recall what was the tea during that year, apart from revealing that you were talking about folklore lpss…

Thank god for that. It was a traumatizing time seeing ME! in her Top 10.

I'm just saying that her best songs aren't usually her "most popular" songs and some of her singles/hits aren't indicative pf the quality of her albums at all, I've struggled so hard to get my friends to listen to her. #ThankYouExile #ThankYouFolklore

With you guys being tasteless, do you actually think you deserve new music?

Unfortunately, the answer to that is NO.

Plsss lol true I actually thought about that but the difference is that Taylor purposely releases her weakest songs as singles while most artists do the exact opposite.

Sorry but if it feels like a damn chore to go through your top 10 most popular songs on your Spotify page then I automatically just assume the rest of your discog would be worse

Not 200 pages already :hoetenks: The way we kept getting fed throughout 2020/2021 and STILL are so thirsty for more content... but i feel like its because she didnt really promote any projects (besides release weeks) and only released 1 single per project

I’ve never really given U2 a chance but I might have to. I’ve been getting into Pearl Jam, which I never would have expected a couple of years ago. But I have always had an affinity for Alt/rock bands. Some of my favs from high school are the 1975 and the Neighbourhood, for example! I remember when Matty (the 1975’s lead singer) wore a 1989 shirt and Taylor followed up wearing a 1975 shirt. I was living :jonny:

State of grace is literally inspired from U2 music.

About other artists, I love Beatles, Justin Timberlake, Eminem, Joni Mitchell, MJ's thriller. What other artists do you like?

No wonder Scott said NO to Mr. Perfectly Fine.

I can’t blame him, Big Machine will not survive with lawsuits back then.

Imagine if I’d Lie was released back then whew

Not even remotely similar.

I guess Scott was trying to help Taylor build her own artistry, and not have her influences be too on the nose.

It’s def a music video. Either Ts10 a lead or a vault track from the next TV

Just went to give Pearl Jam a listen since you mentioned them. On my 3rd song and its giving so far :clap3:

Also I actually heard 1975 for the first time earlier this year too. And I really liked the few songs I heard so far. I have yet to give their discog a full listen, I will soon tho

Gave Neighborhood a listen too but they were not really my cup of tea tho
