Jaspurr Posted March 23 Posted March 23 I'm so bored that I came here to visit y'all while blasting Down Bad on loud speakers. TTPD deserved at least 4 singles 5
Jaspurr Posted March 23 Posted March 23 I kinda don't care about which producer she works with, I just need her to collab with a melodist again. I think the last time someone contributed to her discography is a melodic sense was Shellback coming up with the pre of King of My Heart. I always think about how much more of a serve MBOBHFT would be had he been in the room with her. He always takes her songs from an 8 to a 10. The Alchemy needed him, too. 6
Jaspurr Posted March 23 Posted March 23 I just hate when people say she needs to work with Max Martin again. It's ******* Shellback. He solves ALL her melodic issues. 5
Jaspurr Posted March 23 Posted March 23 (edited) The fact that we haven't had a glimpse into her creative world since that evermore interview with Zane Lowe. I can come up with at least 100 questions to be answered about Midnights, TTPD and the TVs. I hate her Edited March 23 by Jaspurr 4

Maybe, but her re-recordings with him were very bad on red. I mean like very bad. I can't listen to red pop singles they are terrible. 1

LastKiss Posted March 23 Posted March 23 I CANNOT believe there are people who DARE to say that she has topped RED in terms of greatness Every song is either a career highlight or a BOP. Including the pop singles & the CAMP classic stayx3 The Taylor's Version maximises the slay too 1

Chloe or Sam or Sophia or Marcus Posted March 23 Posted March 23 My heart is breaking for every song on Fearless. To be so great yet so overlooked… this is the tortured poets department she sang of 7 1

That song is just so much fun to sing along to. Edited March 23 by coney island 1

The first time I heard her sophomore record (the record company literally played it over the phone for me because they were so afraid of it leaking) I thought, "Holy cats, this is a perfect pop album. She'll never top this." Then she topped it three times in a row, to the point where it's one of history's most curiously overlooked perfect pop albums. Honestly, I don't really agree about 1989 topping it. But she did still make 4 more GOAT albums after already making this GOAT album. 7

The way Fearless would be anyone else's GOAT work but She had to go and put out SN, Red, and the folk sisters to get it punted down to 5th best (and really sixth best if we're allowing ourselves to consider The Anthology as a separate body of work) 1

Unfortunately those types of gimmicks are usually saved for the middle years of an artist's legacy act period. You'd think she'd see the opportunity for an easy cash grab by doing an album of acoustic versions of her pop work but despite being an evil capitalist she does leave a lot of money on the table. 1
Nein Posted March 24 Posted March 24 I am not worried about TS12, because it will be filled with catchy hooks and strong pop songs, the Lord always respond to criticisms about her previous records.

I don't like putting the sisters in fights against each other but I'll always have a little bit of resentment for the world at large for paying this album dust compared to folklore. Her songwriting really showcases so much more on evermore to me. 5
