19SLAYty9 Posted March 23 Posted March 23 Concept: Taylor releases the "from the vault" tracks as singles leading up to the release of the album. Announce album August 17 at the vmas. A month of pre orders built up. Then September 14th announce that she wants the album to be a surprise but wanted to give fans an in sight into her creation process and clarifies that while these songs won't be on the album, that they were explorations on the way to the record to tease what's to come. Every 2 weeks she drops a from the vault track for a Black Friday release. Gives her multiple new number 1s. Then releases a deluxe version with those 4 from the vault songs with 4 more mid week. 5 number 1s at least after the lead goes #1.
Michael196 Posted March 23 Posted March 23 So grateful to have experienced every step of this journey so far in real time, and can't wait for whatever she has in store for us, which she can take her sweet ass time with since I can't seem to grow tired after playing the same playlist to death for the past four months and barely bothering to listen to anyone else 5
19SLAYty9 Posted March 23 Posted March 23 Anyways here are the avenues I could see her taking: 1) synth pop inspired alt rnb. Think "all the stars" by Kendrick and sza. Szas debut and sos sound-ish. This could be possible given the alleged Kendrick and sza collabs and jacks soundwave's sound with both of them 2) finally giving us that 70s Stevie nicks / Fleetwood Mac inspired album. Big guitars. Drums. Mostly instruments. Some twang incorporated Similar to Sabrina or Kacey. Big choruses. Innuendos. Playful. Could explain Ian following her in October. Could also have a Sabrina collab, or even Stevie. 3) being inspired by her attending Coachella and seeing domdolla /john summit with Travis and making a dance pop record similar to renaissance, pop, dance, disco, edm, hyperpop, trance, house. Could also explain easyfun following her in October. 4) another patchwork album with many genres incorporated. Focuses more on storytelling and motifs tying it together rather than sonic composition. 5) grunge/ punk/ rock/ alt 90s sound. This one is more just me wishing. 1

Timeless Posted March 23 Posted March 23 Max Martin attended The Eras Tour last year in Sweden, so let's hope they both cooked something up in the studio for TS12

Saying this as if you don't spend literally every day of your life in the discord begging for more Max Martin songs. I've come to the conclusion that I only want Max on 3-4 songs on the album à la 'RED'. It'd make having them even more special. 1

Feanor Posted March 23 Posted March 23 What would be a gag is an entire album only made by her and other female co-writers & -producers. I don't think there has ever been a major A-list album only done by women, so it would be the most feminist move in all of music history, without it feeling "forced" or showy. Yes, The Sun article about her doing this still lives rent free in my mind… 1

I have all of her main album tracks on this playlist ordered, but these are my top 23 (because that's the most I could fit!) 4
Fresh Out The Slammer Posted March 23 Posted March 23 I'd say get Imogen Heap back but what she exposed or something this year.
Swiftie In Red Posted March 23 Posted March 23 I'm 27 in 9 weeks and because of the drought I've decided to dedicate each week up until that day with an album week. This week I'm doing Lover. I'm streaming the entire album the whole week, as well as watching the era's associated music videos and City of Lover (I bought the DVD through eBay ages ago and never got around to watching it asdfghjll). Then I plan to do the same from folklore-TTPD. My vision is that just before I turn 27, I will play The Manuscript. The story (26, a tumultuous time relationship wise honestly thank **** I'm bi because men are the ******* PITS) and I can move on. Thank you Taylor for supporting my mental illness, Amen 6
