The real tea is that Taylor is associated with "normies" so certain fandoms on the site disregard any mention of her IRL because they're not coming from Stan Twitter.

 

Like the average Taylor fan is what we would call the GP, and not the type who buys four copies of every vinyl variant she's put out :deadbanana4:

I totally forgot about this. It makes so sense that she's releasing TS12 when she drops the last re-recording. It's all happening this year. Isn't it also the end of her contract deal with Republic?

The way she's set up the final stretch of the rerecordings saga is genuinely masterful.
 

The common refrain from late 2023 that "all she has left to reclaim are her name and her reputation" comes to mind first, and then you remember that they represent the beginning and end of the Big Machine period of her career. Then there's the fact that one of them is a beloved fan favorite under-appreciated by critics and the GP while the other was a GP slow-burn smash now heavily underrated by fans, both with an opportunity to be reappraised in this new light. Now, with this post, we can talk about how the next new album that would come out will close what could have, in another life, been the age of her career where she "earned" back those original six, only to presumably have to do it all over again. And now, TS13 could represent not a kind of ending (as I once worried it would before realizing she's a workaholic), but an entirely new chapter in her career - a fresh start for an artist, legendary already, who is no longer bound in any way by the past.

I'm willing to bet everything on the fact that the next album is NOT a fun upbeat banger album. 

 

She is definitely NOT doing the most obvious thing of all by releasing Loser 2.0 about Travis.

When we're wrong, she does literally Loser 2, and then the Loser super-era (aka Loser, City of Loser, The More Loser Chapter, Cruel Summer's single run, the Cruelest Summer EP, the Loser set opening Eras, Loser Live, and now Loser 2) extends another six ******* years and the next tour is the resurrection of Loser Fest :snowman:
