If this girlie doesn't at least put out a half-assed digital version of this EP tonight or tomorrow, I never wanna hear another word about her being chart hungry again!

I don't even think she posted the link to the vinyl on her socials :gaycat2:

Her power is genuinely scary. Rep TV is about to gag the live.

She didn't, it was TaylorNation alone :deadbanana4:

Imagine if 400k copies were available and she posted it on her instagram story.

All these Taylor's current output vs 2nd/3rd/4th eras of much younger artists comparrisons are meaningless.

Of course one day there will be new younger artists and their early work in the first 7-8 years (what will go down as their personal peaks) will be in one way or another bigger than an 11th era that is battling with 10 older eras.

But one must think about how an artist should design the later years 15 to 20 of their careers. Taylor found such a good balance with old and new material. Big artists after 7-8 years will either flop or slowly decline era after era OR find a way to push a concept forward that makes them very relevant and successful again.

But be prepared to whoever is randomly relevant/at their peak in 2026 will be used against Taylor's 12th album stats.

A TS12 egg?

Travis during an interview today said "keep chasing these dreams"

TN had a tweet with "keep chasing these dreams"

Is "Keep Chasing These Dreams" a track on "Happiness, Fun, and Magic"?

Do we believe the 1/23 announcement date for rep TV? I'm kinda clowning! Why the heck else would Taylor Nation post that about IHIH today? It's track 23, after all!

That Loca user having meltdown in every Taylor thread is so funny.

I'm honestly glad she has seemingly disappeared, as well as her commercial success being in a "low period" (if you can even call it that, I mean, I know it's still massive but comparatively to her peak a year ago)…

If my suspicion that TS12 is on the horizon is true, its smashery will be a lot more enjoyable and gag-worthy after a quiet period. That's part of why, apart from loving the album, I felt the usual excitement following her numbers with TTPD wasn't the same. She was at her absolute peak with nowhere to go but down afterwards, and the numbers and oversaturation in terms of discussion didn't surprise me.

I need TS12 to feel like Midnights where she re-emerges after a fairly short down period and properly capitalizes on all her hype (this time post-Eras hype, whereas Midnights was folkmore/Red TV hype) and GAGS us all again :giraffe:

Spoiler

And obviously TTPD was released mid Eras to capitalize on that but I actually think it hurt the album in the end. She was too oversaturated and it was a very ballsy and unusual album to drop at her peak. It would make sense to capitalize on her peak now with a proper album full of bangers, especially when she'll be a bit more missed and people are now craving a change in direction from her more than ever.

Hopefully this ends up being for the next tour. She needs to do a full Asia-Pacific leg as they were done dirty for Eras. She can easily beat both P!nk's and Coldplay's records there.

Chengdu, Xi'an, Shanghai, Beijing, Wuhan, Chongqing, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Seoul, Tokyo, Osaka, Kaohsiung, Manila, Kuala Lumpur, Perth, Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Auckland, Jakarta, Singapore, Bangkok, Mumbai, New Delhi, Ahmedabad.

Imagine the gag :cm:

But I thought only White girls liked her? Yet China basically BEGGING her to perform. Oh TayLegend...

This remains one of the best song she's ever written. Masterpiece through and through.

Debut TV needs to be a double album with this amount of great unreleased songs.

Wait, i didn't even know that :deadbanana4:

Just... HOW is she able to do something like this, this is just insane. She's somehow able to quickly sell out a vinyl live album of six year old songs without any promo on her socials whatsoever. I'm not even sure Adele had that power when she was at her peak :deadbanana4:

I mean Gaga stans used to compare Born This Way's stats against Madonna's MDNA album stats back in 2012, when Gaga was 4 years into her career vs Madonna's 30 years of career. So yeah more bad faith comparisons with Taylor are definitively coming as well, anything to feel they're "winning" something.

this also needs to be on the vault.

It sounds like a Faith/Shania single from the mid 90s

Exactly. I'm gonna be annoying and quote myself from the HDD thread, but:

Quote

Taylor is nothing if not a person who makes slight changes to attempt to resolve the criticisms thrown at her. TTPD is a long, slow, boring album with a splashy debut but little staying power - okay, she probably that knows people are saying that, and obviously doesn't want her music to be perceived that way. It's only logical to conclude (especially in combination with the anticipated subject matter of her next record) that it's going to be shorter, brighter, more upbeat album, maybe even conceived with the intention of "leaving a lasting mark on popular culture" in mind (you can't really engineer a legacy, but there are observable trends). There's absolutely zero reason to think that TS12 will perform at all like TTPD has, unless one is incapable of thinking critically. At this point, it's all hypothetical, but...

I think we have every reason to believe that TS12, whenever it comes, is going to be her prescribed antidote to the criticisms hurled at TTPD :clack:

She's in the midst of a several month downtime (the only break from which will be the NFL games, of which only the Super Bowl (*knocks on wood*) will be relevant to the GeePee), and I feel confident that she'll explode right back on top. Bad Bunny can have Q1 :eli:
