People go to McDonald's because it's cheap and readily available, and it doesn't receive glowing reviews either. No food critic is going to say it's top tier food. Taylor's music is available at the same price, actually often more expensive if it's a longer vinyl pressing etc, than other artists' music. No excuses or comparisons will change the fact that it sells more because people like it more than others. Not to mention her music does receive glowing reviews and is considered top tier by critics (how many universally acclaimed albums in a row did she have before TTPD? A lot) I mean you can never expect OTH logic to make sense but yeah. If it's about releasing often, then we're Joni Mitchell and The Beatles fast food music in the 70s? ijbol Every time OTHs are confronted about their contradictions they either change the subject or play the victim Their arguments never make any sense because it's really just about blind hate. And the only reason why they hate her so much is because of vibes, nothing else. They probably just don't like the way she looks, the way she speaks,... sometimes it's REALLY just about that. They've hated her for well over 10 years already but once she had her massive comeback with Midnights/The Eras Tour they completely lost their minds. It's been "cool" to hate her online almost since the beginning of her career but i noticed a clear shift specifically since The Eras tour started, it's more vicious and obsessive than ever before. Because they KNOW she's on top of the world and can't stand the reality of it. 8

Or if Mac Miller doesn't do as strong as his last posthumous album then she could save some for the 2nd week. Lowkey want her to drop a digital on her website that week of the album with some of the other performances she did. Or finally give us the full Red/Daylight mashup. I really want that dumb little EP to go #1 without being combined with the main album, so I hope it all ships at once! First of all sending a ******* live EP to #1 effortlessly with like 200k units would be hilarious and a huge power move, second of all another #1 album on her list (and her first that's not a studio recording), third of all it would really make the case for doing an Eras Tour live album… … and fourth of all the extremely legendary Corny Street Live From Paris will have done THAT 1
Cruel Summer Posted January 11 Posted January 11 Actually, now that I think about it, this rerelease seems a little random anyway, and I wouldn't be surprised if it's essentially a test run for whether the appetite is there for an Eras Tour live album project. Unless she plans to celebrate Lover in the very rough, semi-approximate vicinity of Valentine's Day every year. 1
Kyle-x Posted January 11 Posted January 11 Listening to this album in a midwest winter snowstorm. Ah, that's the way She intended for this album to be heard. 5

We need Taylor Swift (Live from The Eras Tour), Fearless (Live from The Eras Tour), etc. each individually released exclusively on CD and vinyl composed of the performances cobbled together from the setlist + surprise songs. Whew, 11 new #1 albums instantly. Edited January 11 by Kyle-x 2

I put together a new shelf to organize my growing mountain of Taylor physicals the other day and I overestimated how much space I would need, so I have two and a half empty shelves (which makes me want to compulsively buy more records ddd), but I would actually be so pleased if she did something like this because it would give me something to fill some space with
Incandescent Glow Posted January 11 Posted January 11 I still don't like her rewriting history with If This Was A Movie but that Taylor's Version was a gag 2

Kyle-x Posted January 11 Posted January 11 The way this is genuinely could've been a #1 single but she held it off streaming for 6 months and then finally released it in the middle of a Wednesday the sabotage 2

That said, I think this song belonged more on TTPD than on Midnights. Midnights talks about the Joe fallout in a much more veiled approach, while this song is very direct, like the songs on TTPD. That makes me want to make a TTPD tracklist once again to include this song because that would be a gag. Spoiler -Standard- 1. My Boy Only Breaks His Favorite Toys 2. You're Losing Me 3. NordicGuy Posted January 11 Posted January 11 I work in a grocery store and for the last 6 months they've been playing a lot of Taylor on the store's radio. Back in the day Shake It Off, Blank Space, Style, Cruel Summer and Me were the only Taylor songs they would play but in the last few weeks I've heard invisible string, gold rush, I Hate It Here, So Long London, Who's Afraid..., My Boy..., the 1 and weirdly enough the original version of the lakes is on heavy rotation in particular. But they're still playing Me! every now and then and it sure causes a whiplash after all those masterpieces. And mind you this is in rural Finland of all places. Atrl told me she was local 4

Pretty much every country in the world has a solid Swiftie base at this point, her days of being local to the US are long gone. The WW success of the Eras Tour already proved that and she didn't even tour in many countries where she's at the absolute top, like China 1
