You don't feel sexy confident when listening to Look? That's half the experience!:ryan3:

I have to admit that I love the use of a Katy reference to describe Look, no matter how inaccurate it might be :ryan3:

Except this is the perfect use case :ryan3:

It's a drag AND it's lyrically accurate :ryan3:

The way she has gone radio silent since the last Eras show, apart from a pap walk here and there.

No Christmas post, no NYE post, no Grammy campaigning, no announcement… what is she up to? stephm.png

I think she's recognized that Q3/4 2024 has been her "down time" between eras, and she's about to come roaring back with a megahit and an album that outdebuts TTPD some time later this spring :ryan3:

I've... moved on, I guess, in the sense that it doesn't have to happen because my actual deep desire is for Taylor to abandon the pop world and really lean in to making deep, moody, complex, and unpopular albums so all of the fair-weather fans leave and the evermore cult can exist in peace :ryan3:

Spoiler

But... if TS12/I Luh Ya Travi does it, then it's not like I'd be mad

Spoiler

I just want us to stay above 1.5 :suburban:

I've decided I'm going to invest in a time machine back to like February of last year so I can bully Taylor into making this the lead (accompanied by the obvious doll themed visuals) because the last minute of production is just... too perfect blasting through a car speaker to get wasted like this. Truly, what was She thinking?

I completely understand your desire for deeper and moodier music (evermore IS my favorite Taylor album after all) but i want her to give us at least one more big pop album before going fully into that route. I really want her to give us one more pop masterpiece the way Madonna did with Confessions on a Dance Floor. I know she has it in her :jonnycat:

I think this was intentional. Everybody was expecting an announcement either on the last show or for her bday, but by not doing what ppl are expecting she's keeping ppl on their toes and also keeping from being overexposed.

It's smart cause now she can comeback in the spring with TS (TV) and then Rep (TV) in the fall to close things out for the eras

No I'm actually genuinely mad now. Why on EARTH did She think the rest of the slop in the Flawless vault was acceptable when we could all see Bible Baby RIGHT there? And then why on EARTH have the annoying and awful fans NOT made it the most successful track from that vault? Where are the streams, where is the success?

Have YOU listened to Bible Baby today?

Bye Bye Baby is a horrendous vault track, be serious. The original demo version was an excellent acoustic masterpiece, but her and Hack Satantoff totally massacred that song. She sounds like she's bored singing the new version. The new lyrics don't make even sense. The production is too mellow. The acoustic version had more emotion goddamn it. It went from being one of her best unreleased tracks, to one of her worst released songs of her career.

This song is everything that's wrong with Hack Satanoff. Sloppy work.
