Everything linked to The Eras Tour has been/is an immense success. It's beyond crazy. The tour itself is the biggest of all time, the concert movie was an enormous deal, the book is selling like crazy, Cruel Summer became arguably the biggest hit of her career, her entire catalogue has performed like crazy over the past two years, the re-recordings have performed better than most brand new albums... and that's not even counting the economic surge happening everywhere she steps foot, the city renaming themselves, politicians begging for her to come to their countries, etc... It has truly been a hell of a ride to be a fan these past two years. And I'm sure she's cooking something for the last show this weekend to close off this insane chapter of her career.

 

I really wish we get a documentary about all of this. It's been so fascinating to follow. 

 

Oh and btw, can't wait to be taking my credit card again this Friday to purchase the book too

it baffles me when people say taylor's music is bland, risk-free and stuff when most mainstream artists out there are making even blander music with next to no depth, just good beats and vibes  

 

however, i lowkey agree that she took little to no risk with her last 2 albums when she's the one who can take big risks without big consequences on her musical career.
