mael Posted October 29 Posted October 29 (edited) Just had a moment with HIGHlights today... She sounds so young on You're On Your Own, Lord.. still one of Her discography highlights. Just brilliant song writing... only smeared by the half baked instrumentation.... 'Cause there were pages turned with the bridges burned Everything you lose is a step you take So make the friendship bracelets, take the moment and taste it You've got no reason to be afraid An anthem for the AGES, the adrenaline rush I get when she gets to the line SO MAKE THE FRIENDSHIP BRACELETS TAKE THE MOMENT AND TASTE IT Edited October 29 by mael 1

She's given us so much, and I think she'll reap the benefit of it for at least the next decade. Oh absolutely. When you realise how massively her streaming numbers have gone UP since the beginning of the Eras Tour and how those numbers never went down since then, it's not crazy to say that she delevoped an entirely new fanbase with this tour, which is just... unheard of. NO OTHER ARTIST IN HISTORY got an whole new fanbase from a tour, it's literally history making Once again, if you'd told me 2 years ago this would happen i would've called you crazy. Who would've thought that an artist whose always been a huge mainstream force for almost 17 years would suddenly get so much bigger at THAT point in her career? Especially since she never really flopped, unlike most other artists who had long careers? It's just insane to think about As i always said: i'm SO glad i'm not a OTH, my stanning life would be so miserable if i was 1
torontowest91 Posted October 30 Posted October 30 anymore updates about the international ERAS TOUR book release?

Calvin Posted October 30 Posted October 30 Friends break up, friends get married Strangers get born, strangers get buried Trends change, rumors fly through new skies But I'm right where you left me Matches burn after the other Pages turn and stick to each other Wages earned and lessons learned But I, I'm right where you left me Help, I'm still at the restaurant Still sitting in a corner I haunt Cross-legged in the dim light They say, "What a sad sight" I, I swear you could hear a hair pin drop Right when I felt the moment stop Glass shattered on the white cloth Everybody moved on I, I stayed there Dust collected on my pinned-up hair They expected me to find somewhere Some perspective, but I sat and stared Right where you left me You left me no, oh, you left me no You left me no choice but to stay here forever You left me, you left me no, oh, you left me no You left me no choice but to stay here forever What a Great Great song 4

I think it's worse than every single she's released since YNTCD, though Broken Heart is such a weird song to me, I loved it at first listen and even found it a career highlight Now it's just annoying and does nothing for me. It's the first time a song of hers didn't grow for me over time

DevilsRollTheDice Posted November 1 Posted November 1 (edited) When ...Ready For it? was released it was one of my least favorite singles from Taylor in years. Time has really been the ultimate truth teller with its quality, especially the live performances. However, it sends me that it only has 80 million more streams more than Getaway Car despite massive exposure differences . One of her many hits that got away. Edited November 1 by DevilsRollTheDice 2
