LostInStereo100 Posted February 6 Posted February 6 What do you all think is gonna happen with Cruel Summer now with all this news? I still feel like it’s gonna keep kicking I just hope it doesn’t over shadow her new material this spring. Obviously for the first month or so the new album is gonna push Cs down but it’s also right before summer 👀

"Cruel Summer" is just one of those once-a-year mega hits. It will probably still be on the charts during summer 2024
LostInStereo100 Posted February 6 Posted February 6 Also it’s already 10:15 in the morning on Tuesday in Japan a little over 24 hours to go till Tokyo kickoff Get ready for Japan streaming boosts. What is the best way to track streaming boosts for Japan? Twitter? Or is there other ways

Honestly, most of the complaining I’ve seen online today isn’t even about that. That’s a valid thing to be concerned about - the Grammys still seem to struggle deeply with properly recognizing Black artists, particularly Black women, in categories like AOTY, and it should be discussed. That should receive attention. But most of what I’m seeing online is complaining that her hair or outfit was messy, or she didn’t seem grateful enough, or she “snubbed” Celine, or she “dragged” Lana onstage who might have had complex feelings at losing an award her friend won. I’ve even seen people whining that her body language was “juvenile.” It’s not even legitimate stuff, it’s just whining for the sake of whining, and it blows my mind that there are thousands of real life people who have nothing better to do than steep in their own bitterness over a woman they don’t know. 6

It will be close to 2B before summer even starts which is insane

With Taylor Mania, they definitely will keep spinning two or more singles. I wouldn’t be surprised if it starts outstreaming the lead from TTPD by end of year though
perfectillusion204 Posted February 6 Posted February 6 (edited) My prediction was Rep TV April 26, TS11 December 13. But now with TTPD (TS11) being the one coming in April, I still think the next TV will be coming December 13. It's her bday and a Friday so it would lowkey make sense for her to release Debut. TTPD will probably still be smashing so there'll be no need to rush Rep TV for the vault tracks. Debut TV will be a week-long era, if we even make it that long 😂 But that will be just what we need for that time: a little Xmas gift & some ancient vault tracks that OG Swifites have wanted. She'll add one more shows the first half of 2025, with Rep TV coming June 13, 2025. Also the end of the Eras Tour around then too. Then she'll take a well-deserved looong 6 month break before coming back at the top of 2026 with TS12 lead single. Edited February 6 by perfectillusion204
fridayteenage Posted February 6 Posted February 6 ugh she better NOT make the post song the single just cuz it's a high profile feature. she should know better after ME! (and for non-lead singles, end game)

I’d love it if the album was inspired by that sound!

These people know that they’re not actually just well-adjusted, well-intentioned “neutral” fans, right? … right? They're the definition of pick-me Swiffers
Cruel Summer Posted February 6 Posted February 6 1 minute ago, wastedpotential said: They're the definition of pick-me Swiffers They were giving literally deranged in that thread I saw - literally speculating that something is wrong with her and claiming “she’s been off the whole last year” when in reality she’s never seemed happier, more put together, or more into her career

LostInStereo100 Posted February 6 Posted February 6 There is no way we are not getting a lead single before the album. it’s two months away and we know the entire track list already. It’s either coming this Friday or like March
19SLAYty9 Posted February 6 Posted February 6 (edited) this makes sense why the tracklist didn’t match the leaked one on tik tok. Maybe 3 other file names/ covers / 3 other bonus tracks? Edited February 6 by 19SLAYty9
Safe&Sound Posted February 6 Posted February 6 Someone bet it will sound like Gracie's Good Riddance and I have mixed feeling about it

Lemon Posted February 6 Posted February 6 What’s crazier than her releasing frequently is the that she is releasing 15-20+ songs albums frequently and amidst all the Vaults too at the moment.! 1

It's pretty artistically depraved, but when I say I'd put up with anything if she broke the 25 record The week after she can put a super deluxe with all of the different bonus tracks on streaming

I did it for folklore and spent well over $300 Granted, the vinyl variants themselves sell for more than that these days but that's still annoying. I'd be fine with 4 max. 5 if she does target bonus track/color vinyl.

A Taylor release is always one of my biggest financial line items at the end of the year Spoiler I ended up with 19 different copies of Midnights after all was said and done

Lmao. What helps is she's the only act I do this for so it's fine in the end. I could never afford what Kylie Minogue stans do. All those vinyl, cds, cd singles, vinyl singles, maxi vinyl, and country variations. Edited February 6 by Hunter_13

Yeah at least with Taylor I know the albums won't be too insanely priced so I can afford to buy all the vinyl variants, one physical CD, and then whatever digital **** she throws together and I never did get Eras tickets, which was a major blessing to my bank account

That album is actually cute, it was just Gracie being incapable of making proper choruses/hooks. Pretty sure Taylor will deliver it with that kind of production
