What will happen with the tour? It is obvious that she is releasing the album in spring because the European leg of the tour will be her biggest (and best) promo, but I don't know how she will manage to integrate the era into a show that already lasts almost 4 hours.  :celestial5:

Can't stop thinking about this. I mean knowing Taylor she probably would want to deliver the original set but it would be ridiculous just ignore the new album altogether. She's also taking a break before the European leg... she might prepare something for the new leg. she can easily cut like 5 songs from folklore + evermore + Midnights sets and add the new act for TTPD

i still remember when midnights leaked in low quality, and the OTHs and OJHs were cackling about how she was gonna flop b/c there were no hits

:gaylorcat2:

Oh the girls were CONVINCED Taylor was looking down the barrel of a career ending flop album :gaylorcat2:

Can't relate about not having folklore in your top 3, or at worst top 4, but everything else is a spill :clap3:

Then blame her for continuously releasing quality and even managing to improve decade old masterpieces... folklore initially surpassed SN, but TV came and managed to rejoin sacRED in the top 3 :dies:

I think she'll just rotate through the new songs in the surprise song section, but I could maybe see her cutting 1 song and adding a third surprise song that's just a rotation of TTPD tracks.

feels like she'd be basically treating it like an afterthought album she doesn't care about if she did that tho.

Yeah the forced hate was crazyyyyyy. :deadbanana2:they really wanted SO bad for it to tank

The way OTHs were trying to cope with Midnights smashing by telling themselves it's a terrible album :deadbanana2: But they got reality check now

Fair, but she developed the choreo/visuals/sequencing for every other set over months, and I don't think she'll have had the chance to do the same for songs from this album. I guess we'll find out in Paris in May, but as of now I'll just be pleased if she sings every song on the album live at least once :deadbanana2:

I wanted to say I'll be sure to report back quickly after the show, but it's going to be online the second she does something about TTPD.

Well...depends on how the album will sound.

But definitely She will cut songs from other acts.

I always thought and wrote about the fact folklore act is too long for Europe where the casual audience will be bigger than in the US. She can cut 3-4 songs from all the set combined (long live i guess is sadly at risk since It wasn't on the original setlist) for 4-5 new songs of a new act.

Maybe One of the biggest hint at a new album were the new dates added in the us at the end of the year. So she's gonna tour the album in the US too.

Exactly, it's like when do you give up and admit defeat...

OH WE ******* WON. SHE'S COMING WITH THE EVERMORE SUCCESSOR :jonny:

I knew she would come hard after giving us MID. This will be her most devastating break up album and an instant classic by the title alone.

Joe is cooked.

More things regarding last night...

The Celine thing was pretty noticeable and obviously not right, but the woman was at the end of a 3.5 hour telecast where she was drinking non stop, if not doing more considering the company she had :celestial5:, combined with the rush of serotine of singing/dancing, concluding in a shockingly unexpected positive result, as messy as her behavior was, no one is allowed to blame her, since everyone should moderate their own behavior and existence before criticizing others.

plus she was the first to stand and sing to her song when she appeared, then took a photo with her off stage, no one shows respect to others as much as she does and that's a fact.

Dragging Lana on stage being viewed as her intending to rub the loss in her face is insanely stupid, like yes Lana isn't credited for the award, but she contributed to the album, is her friend and has always admired her, then what's the problem? Lana might be really awkward (which is why she hit it off with Jack), but getting offended over this is dumb as well...

Also... there's no denying that relatability, humility and being down to earth have been major factors in her "appeal" and public persona, and they're probably some of the reasons why most of us are attached to her, but there should be a line there, since while she's still "playing the field" and stomping everyone while doing it, many seem to be forgetful (or act that way) regarding the thought of her being their peer, when in fact they'll never be able to even surpass her status during the original Red, the continuous side eyes from "celebrities" serving stan twitter and acting above her, when she gets more excited for other people's wins/achievements than the individuals themselves, but when it comes to her others act like she's undeserving, especially the late millennials/early gen z crowd that witnessed the events of 2015/6 during their teens/early 20's and thinking that somehow they're still living in that reality, constantly viewing the fact that she interacts and shows respect to everyone instead of acting above them is that they're in the same lane is pretty hilarious...

Oh and poor Paul Mescal. He'll have to answer about that whatsapp group for the next five-ten years

There’s 17 more shows until release. Wonder if she’ll spill a track title at every show?

Taylor is known for her respect for legends and even artists with younger careers then her. This "backlash" is so manufactured it's insane.

Thinking about that insiders post a few months ago where they said she was sitting on the re recordings and albums of material… if this album has been done for 2 years then that means she’s already recording ts12/13 …

Her birthday falls on Friday this year. :penguin:
If we all live that long and stay healthy, who knows what there could be. :snowman:

That's what she spent all those nights in the studios working on last summer :ryan3:

At this time she's already starting to write for TS14 :ryan3:

When she said "two years",  I don't think she meant she has been sitting on TTPD that long. More like she's been working on it for the past 2 years. It explains the late night visits to the studio these last few months.
