I am a resident Fearless (S) and Fearless (A) stan. :gaycat2:

The song is top ten in her discography, and the album is in her top five. This isn’t debatable, either. :gaycat4:

I would argue with you on the song being top 10, but completely agree with the album being top 5. :clap3:

Fair enough, it’s just a song I’ve been super attached to since literally 2008. It’s always been my favorite on the album, and I nearly cried when I pressed play on the TV. :dies: I’ve also told mentioned before how I lost my **** when it started during Eras, even though I knew it was coming. :skull:

It’s kind of wild how the album often gets overlooked these days, because it’s still one of the most successful albums of the last twenty years. Really just goes to show you Taylor’s power. It’s also just a great album from start to finish.

Spoiler

Superstar and We Were Happy don’t exist if I don’t listen to them :eli:

My favorite thing about Superstar is that if you go any of the (many) lyric videos on YouTube, every comment section is FILLED with One Direction stans dedicating the song to their favorite member. :deadbanana4:

Red is amazing, but it's not on Begin Again's level of excellence.

Because just as Swifties back in the days had poor taste thinking Red, WANEGBT and IKYWT are better than Begin Again, Italian Swifties a couple years ago had poor taste thinking Come Back Be Here is her second best song ever (like, it's merely the second best song on the Red deluxe).

Behind Vanessa Hudgens At Home, of course :ryan3:

Speaking of nicknames, I saw a post today asking what's your favorite derogatory nickname for a Taylor album. What would be yours?

Taylor Smith

Tasteless

Speak Not

bREaD

1939

Repetition

Loser

folkbore

eversnore

MID-nights

I think mine is Loser. Basic, but iconic. Repetition is a close second. :ryan3:

All of these are pretty solid classics, but I'd add:

Tuneless

19Katy9

Puta

(L)Over

Where I think the funny TayNicknames shine are in the songs though. There's the entire genre of Holy/Biblical names (thanks in good part, I believe, to the good sis @Taylor fanboy), and then there are the scalping nicknames. Disgust, End Fame, all of the ME! variants (!TH, !SS, !SOTHELIOMA, !GAFLOP, etc.), Turn It Off, Stale, Defecate, Tim McSlog, Garbageous, Dildow, 22-OUT, all of the WTNY variants (Hiroshima, Baghdad, Damascus, Pyongyang, etc.), and on and on. There are funny positive and negative nicknames about just about every song and album she's released, but these are my favorites coming to mind :deadbanana4:

MIDnights because it's the same title just with capitals

fun fact:

I was 11 in 2015 and I didn't understand online news very well, I thought Taylor's appeal against bullying was against Bart Baker so I started disliking all his videos and when the IDWLF parody video came out, I I cried thinking that this was the bullying that made Taylor feel bad. My naivety

And I chose you
The one I was dancing with
In New York, no shoes
Looked up at the sky and it was
The burgundy on my t-shirt
When you splashed your wine into me
And how the blood rushed into my cheeks
So scarlet, it was
The mark thеy saw on my collarbone
The rust that grew bеtween telephones
The lips I used to call home
So scarlet, it was
