LostInStereo100 Posted January 28 Posted January 28 I know she won’t do it, but imagine if she gave August attention other than a tweet If it was sent to radio and music video, it would also come for 3B easily just like CS is going to
TaggedGalaxy Posted January 28 Posted January 28 It's nice to come on ATRL and not see dozens of Taylor threads getting her dragged. Thanks for the mess Nicki 6

PaloSanto Posted January 28 Posted January 28 I hope she uploads a couple of rerecorded orphan songs when the tour starts up again just like last year. IDWLF, STF & Need would be make a cute surprise.

As a side note: Hi nice to meet everyone — I’ve been around this forum for a few years infrequently popping in to see what’s going on in pop music and as a filtered place to catch up on all of the Taylor related activity that goes on. Ive seen enough people start their introduction by sharing their favorite album/songs, so I figure that’s something I can share too, but I’ll do a slight twist to it — a few months ago I sat down and figured out my favorite song from each album ahead of the eras tour, feel free to judge, I enjoy the banter. TS - The Outside Fearless - Untouchable Speak Now - Innocent (Username inspiration) Red - Treacherous 1989 - All You Had To Do Was Stay rep - Dancing With Our Hands Tied Lover - I Think He Knows Folklore - Peace (Overall Favorite Song) Evermore (Overall Favorite Album)- Dorothea Midnights - The Great War Bonus: Favorite Vault Track - Forever Winter Treacherous, Peace, and evermore album stanning. TaylenaStan Posted January 28 Posted January 28 Travis is gonna play in the superbowl, i guess Taylor will be there we need rep(TV) payola during the superbowl
TaylorNation Posted January 28 Posted January 28 the way this is going to be Taylor’s superbowl even if she’s not performing
wastedpotential Posted January 28 Posted January 28 No but I'd written off the Chiefs for the SB because their regular season didn't end great and the Ravens looked strong as ****, but apparently I was wrong

By the Water Posted January 29 Posted January 29 Meanwhile, wonderers are wondering: Did Grammy spill the beans and tell Republic star Swift she'd win Album, Song and/or Record (or some kind of lifetime achievement award) in order to secure her as a performer? There's no question that she's the most important celebrity for the Grammys. Given her pop-cultural supremacy over the last year, she will likely inject nitro into the telecast's ratings. If it was necessary to spill those beans to make it happen, you can bet that beans were spilled.
skwonderfactory Posted January 29 Posted January 29 Honestly as much as a Swiftie and Taylor fan that I am, I am not looking forward to her being such a focus for attention during the Super Bowl. I get she’s the biggest celebrity in the entire country but she really shouldn’t get much coverage outside of the broadcast mentioning she is there (alongside the other celebrities attending) and a maximum of 2-3 other shots during the game. Bbutttttt this being THE Super Bowl—along with the additional revenue Taylor has ranked in for the league—there is no doubt she will be a primary pivot throughout the evening. And if the Chiefs do end up winning the game, and therefore the championship, I can 100% see Taylor being on the field afterwards and getting a chance to hold the Vince Lombardi trophy. I may be amongst the 5% gays who actually enjoy football, but I am not looking to this year’s Super Bowl becoming co-led by Swift herself. 1
Lemon Posted January 29 Posted January 29 Midnight Rain is the top 3 on standard edition. It has been like since the release. Most importantly, the song carries condensed album’s theme and atmosphere and perfectly manages to stand out as Midnights songs among bunch of different tracks from different albums. Album’s sonic’s soundscape is brought to a T in it. 2
Michael196 Posted January 29 Posted January 29 I would love for her to perform at the grammys, especially if she serves an epic YOYOK acoustic performance to finally challenge the iconic ATW one and try to beat it for her best televised performance ever. But at the same time, it pisses me off that she always needs to work for a win (as if she’s not the most workaholic artist in the mainstream game), while mediocrities either attend and don’t move a finger or release one song a year, and yet win and even get more awards than her…
MatiRod Posted January 29 Posted January 29 The iron grip she has on pop culture feels unlike anyone else these days. It feels like a throwback to the stars of yesteryear when media was much more consolidated. I don't know how she's done it.
