We need YOYOK to go viral in April / May when graduations start.

:ryan3:

Oh I'm sure it will! All Middy trolling aside, its the song that I can see having the best long term longevity. I'm talking 10 years from now. Wouldn't be shocked if YOYOK is the #1 song from the album.

Yeah me too. We need it on The Eras Tour too. I was surprised she didn't include it

Most streamed Midnights songs on 20/01:

  1. (=) Anti-Hero - 1,59M
  2. (=) Karma - 1,06M
  3. (=) You're On Your Own, Kid - 706K
  4. (=) Midnight Rain - 634K
  5. (+1) Bejeweled - 621K
  6. (-1) Lavender Haze - 605K

How is Lavender Snooze a single + album opener and still a TANK? Bejeweled is coming for Midnight Pain next.

And the way YOYOK has been rightfully stomping on all of them. I love when talent wins.

:ryan3:

I'm gonna need Maroon and Would've Could've Should've to start stomping on most of those.

Let's make these two + YOYOK the Midnights' three most streamed songs.

Arent even random album tracks like Paper Rings from Loser outstreaming Lavender Snooze at this point? :suburban:
What a massive bomb tbh :suburban:
But to be fair there isnt any single worthy song on Midnights anyways besides Anti-Smash... YOKO ONO will have great longevity and will go viral from time to time but its not single material. Its more giving smash album track

Remember Taylor wanted Lavender Haze to be the lead single at one point... the tankery that would've occured :bibliahh:

Agreed! Unfortunately Vigilante is #7 (406k) and Marron is right after it at #8 (360k). WCS is weirdly tanking, I think the initial hype wore off because I kinda relate. Havent felt like listening to it in ages. :gaycat6:

Paper GODS should have been a single too. :bird:

Maroon will be the Cruel Summer/August of Midnights

Midnight Rain with a normal voice and a pop production would be a sleeping hit

They're always acting purposefully obtuse to get a win... As if Karma is meant to be anything but a fun, tongue in cheek, campy bop...

The funny thing is, they'll brag about their faves songs that are meant to be profound and deep and the lyrics usually sound so bad :ryan3:.

Karma is better than both Bejeweled and Midnight Pain so...yes! It's a perfectly crafted CAMP POP song. She usually misses with those and they end up being cringe as ****, but when she gets it right its RIGHT.:celestial5:

In fact, Karma was her best Pop single to me since....Delicate. But then Cruel Smasher snatched it

I've been sitting with this one for so long that I get the itch for change every so often. I don't think I'd ever do it unless @/evermore ever opened up, but it is fun to think about :deadbanana4:

Wait when’d she say this? From the first Midnights Mayhem I knew Anti-Hero would be a single

Nnnn my goal is to snatch @folklore as well. Until then, I guess I'm keeping this. At least its still her best opener.  :gaycat6:

Speaking of users with God-Tier usernames :gaycat7:

even if you didn't live for the song like some girls here do, there's immense power that comes with the username 'Cruel Summer'

Oh that’s why I’m not changing it for anything but Evermore - I manifested my smash and I got it! But let’s not forget that this was an emergency name change after I joined with the username “Me!” :snowman:
