Several artists already explored this sound and served great albums. I remember being almost convinced that TS7 was gonna be disco or at least have some disco influences. Blondie scammed us. 1

Give Is It Over Now? a couple more weeks and maybe a cute little 1989 TV photoshoot behind the scenes music video, then release YOYOK as a single by mid february, have one promo single for Reputation TV (like Speak Now TV), and then by mid July release august as a single so she can have another Cruel Summer moment

I would love a nice video for You're On Your Own Kid as a final goodbye to the Eras era in late 2024/early 2025 though. It would be perfect. 3
mael Posted January 16 Posted January 16 Midnight REIGN about to crack 600 million..... requesting Midnight Rain(extended chorus) edition
Arrows Posted January 16 Posted January 16 I wish she could promote and release videos for Is It Over Now, Midnight Rain (piano version), YOYOK, Cruel Summer, August, Rep TV single and TS TV single all this year. 2
Mandalore Posted January 16 Posted January 16 Do we think she's performing at The Grammys? It's gonna be so close to the tour starting again...
1989 Posted January 16 Posted January 16 Lavender Haze is literally bottom five (maybe bottom three tbh) on Midnights, and always has been. The sooner we as a fanbase move on, the better.

I’m 50/50 on if we’re getting a performance. I feel like if we do get one, it’ll obviously be something from Midnights (can’t imagine she wouldn’t perform something from the AOTY nominee with the biggest chance of winning and further making history). However, I also see it not being a single. I honestly can see her performing YOYOK or Mastermind acoustic, and tying it into Eras somehow. What a Grammy moment.
Squall Posted January 16 Posted January 16 (edited) I have just found out that Louane (a big French singer) was deeply inspired by Taylor (she is a huge swiftie), her impact truly is beyond everything, I knew there was a reason I loved her so much @Klein Edited January 16 by Squall 1
State of Grace. Posted January 16 Posted January 16 Anti-Hero / Lavender Snooze / Karma / YOYOK medley would be really great, but that will remain a dream She can even rehash Cruel Summer's Eras Tour performance to open the show idk
mael Posted January 16 Posted January 16 Just YOYOK is fine, thank you. She can leave the rest on the floor.

Almost no chance she is performing. She will literally have to leave the Grammys immediately to get to Japan the afternoon before the first of 4 concerts. 4 straight concerts really increases the chances the vocal injury so her team will have her being really careful and rest her voice. Additional rehearsals and singing for Grammys would be far too big of a risk for to little gain and is also a significant distraction when her and her team will be focusing on resuming the tour. There is even a small chance that she will skip the Grammys if her tour needs rehearsals for set list changes or just rust. She loves awards but she values putting on a perfect show for people paying her 10 million+ a night more. 1

vale9001 Posted January 16 Posted January 16 (edited) A disco album from Taylor is when she will flop for the first time. Her audience are females love traditional songwriting pop...indie, country, a little bit of rock It's what she can do and her brand. Her swedish pop era worked well cause She was 24 but Reputation already faded and pop singles from Lover were a disaster. That version of her is totally dead in potential now she's well over 30. People wanting an r'n'b album or a disco album or something like that from her are the 5% of her real audience. Edited January 16 by vale9001

I mean, a 3 minute performance is not gonna take a toll on her, but im all for a reverse Grammy snub so there’s hope to that.

Oh i didn't realise She has a concert in Japan Just 48 hours after (less with the adjusted time zone I Guess). Yeah seems really hard She can perform at the grammys. But could be a recorded performance in some private locations.

It’s the rehearsals required for a live tv performance that take a significant toll. With less than 48 hours and a 11 hour flight+ 17 hour time difference before 4 straight shows , she isn’t going perform.

I think she will physicallly go the Grammys but not perform like the vmas and last years Grammys. With her tour, tv performances are a low priority for Taylor. She has a significant chance of winning aoty and/or soty and is big favorite for pop vocal album. She can back to Japan the afternoon before the concert but her team might limit her alcohol .
