Oh, block it all out

The voices so loud, sayin'

"Why did you let her go?"

Does it make you feel sad

That the love that you're lookin' for

Is the love that you had

Now you're out in the world, searchin' for your soul

Scared not to be hip, scared to get old

My favourite parts of this career rererererererere...rere-peak :clap3:

IBYTAM stanning :clap3:

Might still be my second favorite vault track (after FW ofc)

IBYTAM is one of her BESt country songs PERIOD. It's a shame it didn't make the finally cut but Taylor's Version is a blessing so maybe it all worked out in the end.

Why do gays suck Max Martin's **** ? He's made hits but he's a has-been at this point. His recent work sucks and he doesn't know how to make anything good now. Taylor needs to work with NEW producers + Aaron + Jack to create an alt rock album.

She definitely should work with Scandinavian producers/DJs for more generic pop songs. With her current marketability and reach, even something average will turn out huge.

the issue is she cant stop working with jack and he produced some of the most melody-less tracks. Half of Mid nights are filled those (maroon, labrith, mastermind, glitch etc). all snoozefests.

so to think midnights is still doing 10m+ streams today really shows the potential of what could’ve been, should  it have more lively beats, which I believe any normal producers would’ve provided.

So Midnights, which according to you is filled with mid, melody-less songs, doing amazing on streaming proves that... people don't like her collaborating with Jack? :rip:

OT: Just listened to the career highlights Maroon, Labyrinth, Mastermind, The Great War, High Infidelity, Glitch, Dear Reader and YLM :clap3: Incidentally I just read a study proving that Labyrinth stans have clear skins and healthy livers

Hi!

Now everyone loves Taylor Swift and the media is on her side, constantly praising her. But, as Taylor Swift herself discusses in her TIME interview and in the documentary Miss Americana, there was a time when the press turned its back on her.

I'm doing some research and would like to ask if you know of any anti-Taylor Swift opinion pieces from a few years ago, when she was cancelled. I want to reflect the change around her in the media and to do that I need to collect articles where she was criticized. I would be very grateful if you can share them with me!

What do you think got the press back on her side? When did it happen?

Not "new producers" and " + Jack":rip: He's been on every album since 1989, I say enough!

See this is why I won't ever understand the hate Jack is getting. How is he a 1 note producer when he's done Out Of The Woods, Look What You Made Me Do, Soon You'll Get Better, Mirrorball, Gold Rush, Anti-Hero... not to mention his work with other artists like Lana (NFR, Tunnel...) which sound nothing like what he's done with Taylor?

But maybe Getaway Car and this is me trying sound the same and I just have an hearing deficit.

It's always hilarious how Jack haters literally ignore all the amazing work he has done to fuel their narratives :rip:

Random example but it's like how most Lana stans absolutely love DYKTTATUOB and just like... fully pretend as if Jack Antonoff didn't produce almost the entire thing.

I really struggle to think of a more diverse mainstream pop producer than Jack.

Yes, and has worse production than any Jack produced song in the past 5 years

MAROON? Melody-less? Come on now…

mastermind and glitch are 100% ear worms and have got stuck in my head more times than I could count. I’d say suburban legends is a song that’s melody-less and sounds like word salad, but that’s not a song on GODnights.

When will y’all admit that Jack knows how to make the CLASSICS?

I’m not saying he should produce 90% of TS11 but a song or two could work and he has done some work on alt rock.

Girl, I was a Jacklor apologist when this fanbase was begging for Max Martin in 2019 :rip:

He's obviously still talented and his work on Ocean Blvd was A+ last year, I just believe they've peaked creatively and desperately need a break from each other. TS11 is gonna be one of the most important albums in her career and I'd rather have something fresher than yet another Jacklor album. Maybe one song at most.

If Mid is doing 10m streams rn with so many lame tracks, it would be doing 15m with more bangers :chick1:

I'm screaming at the Taylor Swift shots at this Kansas City playoff game tonight. It's like 30 below zero there but she's still serving.

So now Maroon is a snoozefest? Taste has left the room it seems.

The success stans are becoming less and less discrete.

Red TV release week was truly something. The anticipation... the excitement... the nostalgia colliding with the present... the fact she was actually booked and busy. I wore my red lipstick and drank my Starbucks Taylor's Latte™ promotional drink and failed to procure a Target edition red vinyl because the DEMAND was simply too much. A lightning in a bottle moment I fear.
