Can we talk about how Treacherous is about literal sex?

I'll do anything you say, if you say it with your hands?

Forever going with the flow, but you're friction?

Two headlights shine through the sleepless night?

I'll follow you follow you home?

Girly literally peaking as the song crescendos into the second bridge and then quivering at the end with 'I-I-I, like it.......'

… yeah no. It’s about being afraid of this new relationship that she’s found herself in, and has anxiety revolving it. It’s delicate but the original version.

So my boyfriend is in Pennsylvania for work this week and told me some guy working with him said Taylor grew up on the same street he lives in  I’m hoping he can ask for more tea tomorrow so he can tell me lol.

Electric lady again? How many times have we seen her there? Must be at least 20 times at this point

Yep! Jack's home studio is under construction which is why for the last year or so they mostly record there instead of in his studio like they did in the past.

Also lets not forget that 1989 singles were MUCH MUCH bigger and are already surpassing Midnights singles on streaming :coffee2:
And YES i know Anti-Hero spent more weeks in the top 10 than BS for example but lets be real :rip: Streaming makes every single stay top 10 longer these days, feels like the weeks in top 10 record gets broken every year or so at this point :deadbanana4:

Midnights was a big era, but 1989 was overall much bigger.. she is just at her peak overall now which yes Midnights is part of the reason but overall the biggest factor is the biggest tour of all time and the rerecordings

If she plays her cards right the next album/era could be her biggest ever tho especially worldwide

But never will she ever get another album with multiple hits. Anti-Hero/Karma is the closest we're going to get to an era with multiple smashes. The streaming era might make singles stay top 10 longer but it also prevents getting many hit songs post-album release.

Eh. For ts12 she can release a single 4 months before album, then 2, then with the album

Any news / updates on her movie? I know she's probably still in the incubation period of that and just barely working on it and stuff but I'm dead curious about any breadcrumb of info on it...it's probably one of the most exciting things she could be doing after the tour is over. I'm SO hyped for her directorial debut my gosh :jonny5:

I guess she could do that but I fear her strategy of dropping the album all at once works way too well for her to stop for the moment. We've seen multiple example of anticipated albums getting one of more singles pre-album release and the album was then only carried by that one or two songs (like 30, ESV, Scarlet, Harry's House, etc). Maybe that won't affect her like that, but considering the level of anticipation, I think a lead single would never satisfy everyone and that would result in less interest in the album.

Okay, time to build up on Lover/Midnights route in vein of Natalie Prass.

Short Court STYLE is such a Tay song at core. :heart2:

Then there are these two little gems that would work so well with her sound and expression too.

Do we want False God 2.0? Yes, we do! :beatfreak:
That’s why she should also go for channeling Shura with something like this:

And what do we say about another batch of little pop gems sequels to Gold Rush, Willow and Slvt! in vein of this?

But if she ever gets Shura on board directly, Gaylors will probably rejoice.

But yeah, after having Midnights and Lover on repeat in change with Natalie Prass and Shura, I am on board with another pop blood infusion. :hippo:

The only crumbs we have is she's attended movie related events in support of Searchlight Pictures, the production company responsible for it. She was escorted into the "Poor Things" premiere by its president David Greenbaum and was seated next to him during the Golden Globes.

Very curious how it's going to fit in with her crazy schedule this year. If she's also recording new music on top of that...:dies: I just hope she takes her time and writes a tight script. :jonnycat:

thank you so damn much for this. I hadn't noticed she was with him...that's HUGE. Even just reading this and seeing these photos gave me a lot of adrenaline lmao. I can't wait. I really hope she goes down the witty romcon route OR fantasy with lots of folkloric lore and stuff. ugh can't wait :jonny: (also my gosh....she looks beyond stunning in these photos...like she is aging like fine wine :smitten: )

Such a banger :jonnycat:
sacRED the gift that keeps on giving whew
The only Red vault flop songs were Run (still cute), Message in a butthole (still cute to hear her first attempt at pop) and ATWTMVFTV is overrated, standard version clears:fan:

I had a nightmare in which I was an obsessed Midnights Hater :chick3:

Thank god I played High Infidelity and was immediately awash with emotions of love towards the album.

Imagine going your whole life hating on Midnights, her second best album after evermore  :biblionny:

some of these suggestions are AMAZING and I am here for an album sounding like this. Maybe not the next one because its too close to Midnights but perhaps for TS12 or TS13

We need digital deluxe versions of 1989 TV with Say Don't Go, Now That We Don't Talk, Suburban Legends, SIut! and Is It Over Now? (live from The Eras Tour) ASAP to secure the #1. 1989 TV must avenge Midnights and score some easy weeks at #1
