There’s no way someone can come away from Taylor’s discography thinking Speak Now is her weakest or worse :rip: I’m sorry. It’s stronger than at least Mixtape and Fearless

Fearless is superior to Speak Now in every way. Her country magnum opus. Speak Now she pushed experimentation with pop a bit too quickly and she hadn’t found her footing there yet. And Innocent and Haunted may be the worst songs of her career. :bird:

Reputation has nothing on those albums. You need to stop with this nonsense already

All of her albums are good which is why the concept of the Eras Tour worked out. Let's move on to better conversations like praising the 1989 vault tracks :gaycat1:

****! is the best 1939 vault track.

Timeless remains to be her unvaulted magnum opus

Wow, who knew you had taste outside of worshiping Reputation.

**** and timeless are indeed immaculate, and so are Dress, Dancing with our hands tied, Call it what you want, New Year's Day, Getaway Car, Delicate, Don't Blame Me, and Look What you made me do

I honestly don’t think she has anything better than TIMELESS.

She really gagged us without even trying.

PEAK Swiftian songwriting.

It can't be denied that the Jack talentedonoff tracks on Republicannation inspired a lot of the tracks on her third career critical and commercial rerererere...-repeak Midnights, and so did their work  together on Lover.

I would've read your love letters every single night + Adorned with smoke on my clothes are two of her best songwriting moments ever :jonnycat:

Hundreds of years ago, they fell in love, like we did
And I'd die for you in the same way if I first saw your face

In the 1500s off in a foreign land
And I was forced to marry another man
You still would've been mine
We would have been timeless

Apparently some 1989 vinyl have original ****! lyrics in the booklet? Matty Healy wrote and recorded a verse that was scrapped. Seen on Reddit (for some reason I can’t link)

I posted it in the movie thread, if people here are inclined to rub the success in...a bit. :gaycat4:

Everyday I wake up wishing I see she released a 4th and final single from Midnights

I want / need YOYOK or TGW as the final singles. If not then I am also ok with MR or HD.

But I just need a final single from Midnights once Is It Over Now? is done on radio sometime in the start of February

Foolish One is an amazing Taylor Swift-like track and I don’t see enough praise for it

One of the only vault songs that actually sound like true vault songs in the sense that she didnt change the lyrics/sound/production much compared to the original (well i can only assume since we dont have the demo.. would love to hear the demo of this cute song with her young vocals )
I can genuinely see this on the original Speak Now, fits perfectly. Both thematically but also sonically.

And not saying that she wrote the other vault songs recently but for example I Can See You certainly wouldnt have sounded anywhere close to what we got today :rip: (love the song tho)
Same for most of the 19KatyNein vault songs which obviously have a certain Midnights flair about them.
