Now... the true Mastermind that she is, she deliberately threw ME & YNTCD into the Old Time Road's wall knowing that they wouldn't stick, and saved Cruel Summer for the tour to let it truly smash. The tour of course had to be delayed for 3 years, but the execution was still there and she opened with Cruel Summer and now it's a smasha that it always deserved to be.

Its BY FAR the best vault and its not even close, rep vault will just be more Hack Midnights outtakes probably since she refuses to work with Max.. actually looking forward to the debut vault the most since i dont have high expectations there it can easily surprise

Really can't wait for this revisionism and rewriting of history wave among her fanbase re reputation to be finally put to rest when its re-recording comes out. It's exhausting and yall are such major switchers and I just know there will be a bunch of fans "suddenly" seeing the light and loving the album next year.

 

It remains a good pop album with several career highlights. It is weighed down by some clumsy lyrics and weak production moments, just like 1989/Lover/Mids. (An argument could be made that it's the best Poplor album, but I'm not interested in it right now). 

 

It was a success (everything would have been labeled an underperformance post-1989) and it spawned multiple hits. The tour was huge and her biggest at the time.

Nah. It was a bad, disjointed album with hilariously ridiculous costumes and her fake persona. Black lipstick? Lmao, okay Taylor Swift.
