The downvotes these chart cupcake swifties giving @SwiftTFC energy know they can’t take away that historic YE BB200 #1. :clap3:

Exactly bestie. They are fuming cuz they know DBM will start daily outstreaming Anti-Hero next month ( despite AH having way more radio and playlist exposure) + LWYMMD, Delicate, GC are outstreaming Midnight Rain, bejeweled (which had massive promo) and Lavander Haze (which had massive airplay and MV this year) , Gorgeous outreaming VS which had a big performance on tour + I did something GODLY is outstreaming the worst song of all times Maroon (which had a viral trend on TT this year).

RESUSPUTATION IS JUST THAT CLASSIC meanwhile Midnights is obviously not standing the test of time considering Karma is already OUT of Global Spotify.

And Lover (an album I don't like, don't get it twisted) is at #9 on the 2023 YEC, so it's not as if Reputation is doing anything special there either. Apple Music is remarkably finicky, hip-hop oriented, and track-driven, and Don't Blame Me has always performed very well there. That doesn't mean Midnights isn't doing 2.5M more/day on Spotify than Reputation, or that Midnights has spent nearly 6x as many weeks in the BB200 top 10 as Reputation (or that its tracks have spent a combined 47 weeks in the H100 top 10 while Reputation's tracks spent a combined 9 weeks :gaycat4:

AM isn't single track driven cuz as far as I know AM album chart removes streams coming from playlists. So basically reputation album tracks are more beloved than Midnights 20+ tracks albums.:gaycat4:

Can TS11 please have these vibes? The title is "Angels Kill You The Same" a pop rock song. Gives us those perfect pop rock anthems:gaycat4:

Does anyone else remember how much she got dragged for this cover? Although the original is still better, I’ve always found her version to be lovely. Her version really showed me the beauty in the lyrics

I never heard this song before she covered it and I still prefer her cover to the original. She showcased how poignant the lyrics are and how calming the og melody is. The way she was treated for this cover is so unfair, and then the same people who did that to her will turn around and say she received no backlash during 2016/2017 and she's just overreacting and playing the victim.

I think she records as she writes, so if she got inspired and she wrote a song she'll record it no matter what time of year it is.

I'm so excited about TS11 that I just can't listen to any of her past music right now, and that includes any of the most recent vault tracks as well.

I'm in a limbo, where I just can't listen to anything because I feel like this goddam album is coming.

Anyone else watched Dream Girls? That scene where a black label’s hit song was being covered by white artists and the white artists get the airplay?

Apart from the Taylor hate train, I think historically, that’s where the criticisms is rooted from.

It’s not her fault, she [Taylor] is a white woman, the easiest scapegoat for racial topics (also considering her 2016 elections silence).

Never met a person in my life who has not heard EWF’s September.

This is such a delusional take... It's not the 1950s and September was already a huge song before Taylor covered it. People dragged her cause they wanted to drag her, there's nothing deep, political, or profound about it.

Reason why I said it’s “rooted”, and far from delusional, since what you said here, I’ve also already said as part of it.

The nastiest thing about the whole ordeal was that one of the writers of the song complimented her for it at first, then rescinded her own statement when she saw that the internet was big mad about it, and then tried to drag her instead. Absolutely gutless behavior to not just let another woman who simply covered a song you wrote get plowed down by the online mob, but to join in yourself.

2016 to 2018 really feels like a bad fever dream when compared to 2023.

whats news?

rep is not a GP album at all, its the album for the true fan that stick with her during that crucial time. The one who shown up to that era will always have a special bond.

You can stan her during 1989, during loser, during mid, during her glory pink days but nothing compare to those dark rep days

And rep TV will make you guys switch like a sissy like you always does. you ******* are not ready for it. the vaults will be fire.

Girl not liking an album doesn’t make you a hater or a non-true fan :deadbanana4:I was there during 2016 and defended her and was there during 2017 when she released her worst album. I remember lurking on ATRL when she was getting dragged to hell for the underperformance and the negative critical and GP reception. Anyone who was around during that time remembers the obsessed Adele fans that hated on her. Imagine being so ridiculous that you would not consider someone a true fan unless they liked puta (or loser for that matter)

Wouldn’t it be top 10 on the hot 100 without Christmas?

Taylor x Kendrick 2.0 :duca:

and it's definitely not for puta since she needs the two million vinyl ready for april, which means that it has been done and sent to production a while ago...

Kinda her best song released this decade alongside Cowboy like Me. :jonny6:

Watch this reply get 10 dislikes from Midnights supporters cuz Godnights outdid everflop in a month and Labyrinth debuted with 10m streams!!!!

Some of her base especially on Twitter can't go past commercial success to judge an album quality. :chick1:

Does anyone know (or can send me somewhere to look for) the international gross breakdown of The Eras Tour? I only see the total number of all countries together on the usual box office sites, I was curious about the specifics.

With pure sales and gifting CDs/vinyl for the holidays sort of making a comeback (Taylor sold 250k in pure sales last week alone!), I'm going to need her to release a proper Christmas studio album post TVs/Eras Tour/TS11. The sheer commercial potential is just too massive to ignore.

If she came out with like red/green/gold/silver colored vinyl variants, it would literally sell like hot cakes in the weeks leading up to Christmas…

Yea, thanks! I did see that breakdown, but it's missing several big markets and I think the numbers aren't actually up-to-date because it only adds up to less than half of the reported International gross. I was just wondering if a poster on one of the box office forums knew more (there's always someone who has all the numbers in an excel spreadsheet somewhere :skull:).

I'm now irrationally angry that she hasn't released a full on Christmas album with a candy cane pattered vinyl. :clack:

It’s the way I have to actively try to not listen to Taylor all day every day…according to last.fm this month I’m at 428 listens. The next artist is Tate McRae with 60 :skull:

She just rules my life at this point
