Yes i'm italian. Personally, from what I have seen, her demographic range is very broad: from 10/11 years up to 30/35 years. However, it is undeniable that in 2023 she has reached the 40+ age group, my father (49 years old) for example likes to listen to her in the car and bought the folklore CD, many of his 50/60 year old colleagues also met her this year and they love it. In the Instagram stories of the people I follow (people not swifties and that usually don't listen to International music)I see children, teenagers, millennials and adults putting her songs: all these things I wrote up until Midnights would have been unlikely because no one knew her. Even older ladies know her (even if they can't pronounce her name 😂) . Her fan base has certainly grown a lot but the GP is starting to get to know her well and this is very nice as I am an Italian Swiftie since 2011. I'm going to a Taylor Swift themed night at my local nightclub on Saturday, and this happens in several cities in my province 3
Sweeftie13 Posted December 20, 2023 Posted December 20, 2023 Taylor is also doing great in the Italian FIMI Albums chart: #27 1989 Taylor's version #65 Folklore #66 Lover #72 Midnights All this with the chart full of Christmas albums and in a period where every Friday from October to now all the major local acts have released albums. For a country so little open to foreign music, these results are impressive 1

Absolutely yes, her listening range is mainly adolescent, but I assure you that every day more and more people are starting to listen to her. The thing that I think will ensure Taylor becomes even bigger is that a lot of her music talks about themes similar to those covered by Italian pop singers, furthermore Italy has always loved songwriters and Taylor has lyrics similar to the great songs of the Italian singer-songwriter (especially in Red, Folklore, Evermore, Speak Now) 1

If we're lucky, it'll sneak in a few more weeks in January once the Christmas songs collapse combined with the radio gains 1

The fact even Adele can barely keep up with her is ridiculous. This is kinda hilarious because we have people in some threads trying to imply she’s only huge because of the streaming era, yet her actual pure sales compared to the rest of the market show a level of dominance never seen before besides maybe the Beatles 2
Cleanromantic Posted December 20, 2023 Posted December 20, 2023 But you won't, but you won't, but you won't... I would stay forever if you, "Say", "Don't", "Go" But you won't, but you won't, but you won't 1

Given her current level of dominance, she could have several songs smashing simultaneously like the Beatles had in the 60s, occupying entire Top 5 at certain point. Overexposure is not a thing anymore. If you don't wanna listen to someone you just don't click play on their songs and you're good. 1
Cleanromantic Posted December 20, 2023 Posted December 20, 2023 Anti-hero is such a perfectly crafted pop song. I hope it wins soty, not only does it deserve to but it'll be revenge for Blank Space not winning. Also, Taylor doesn't get enough credit for having two of her biggest hits being satirical and so self-critical. 4 1
