Funny you should mention that, because Billboard recently discussed how January is the best month to release and get a huge smash hit: Flowers, Drivers License, Shape of You, 7 Rings and the list goes on.

 

I am sure she’s never doing a proper lead single ever again, but I think the same applies to albums. In the streaming era, Jan/Feb would be a good time to release a new album. 8-10 months of uninterrupted slayage until the holidays come around again

Well, After Hours and Future Nostalgia were both released in Jan/Feb if I remember correctly and they’re both monster albums. I’ve been noticing that too. Let’s wait and see

She began teasing SN in October last year though, it was out only in July.could be the same here too, teasing 6 months in advance.
