I find it hard to believe there will be no movement on the film next year despite her busy schedule. I think they might film it in between shows at some point next year, and take advantage of her being off in March-April and September-October. If this year's shown us anything it's that she's willing to fly wherever at the drop of a hat, so I don't think trips across the Atlantic are out of the question, although maybe she could be filming in Europe? Movies tend to take a lot of time, think casting figuring out the logistics of filming etc, I can see that starting to take form maybe next year. But I highly doubt it's gonna start filming when she has such a tight schedule. I always figured it would come after the tour/during an extensive break from music which I believe will happen after the Eras Tour. But then again, we still don't know the scope of the movie, the kind of movie it is even.

Feanor Posted December 8, 2023 Posted December 8, 2023 So TIME has a "Person of the Year" event scheduled on the 12/12: Quote It all culminates in an exclusive invite-only evening including cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and onstage conversations with select designees for a year-end celebration. So I guess we can expect her to attend that one. 1

So i don't see a novel like something very different from that. As something new i would prefer something like a musical wrote by her. Also because we need to complete the EGOT A musical would be perfect actually. Or a film later turned into a musical 1 1

Yeah there is a tour but she has spaces between legs. about the filming...i think it's gonna be a kind of movie you can make in like 2-3 months. And then a post production of around the same.

TaylorNation Posted December 8, 2023 Posted December 8, 2023 now that the profile has been sitting with me for a couple of days, there are two things I keep thinking about: 1) WARNING: THIS IS NOT A GAYLOR POST but to me it feels like she’s never felt more straight ddd. it’s probably due to her going to the football matches and seeing all those sports bros suddenly talk about her. but also seeing all those 35 year old Disney adult swifties on social media assign hardcore binary stereotypes on them and wanting this alpha male posturing from Travis. idk how to explain it, but I feel like she’s playing into it and it’s lowkey triggering and off-putting for me. maybe it’s just an impression but she seemed more “neutral” about stuff like this in the past. 2) when talking about the catalysts for the Eras Tour, she says that it was the Scooter situation as well as “getting canceled within an inch of my life and sanity”. maybe I missed something but how did snakegate influence the tour in any way? all in all, it’s a good profile and I’m glad she finally gave an interview but am I the only one getting a strange vibe with how she comes across? 1 1

I think it's good to be aware that usually the audience is us, Swifties. With this profile, the audience is completely different. Taylor is a professional and she knows the audience for this interview would be huge and different. She and Tree were prepared for this interview and they knew what they wanted to tell beforehand. The journalist was aware of that and even mentions at the end "Here, Swift has told me a story about redemption, about rising and falling only to rise again—a hero’s journey." The message of her and Tree to this new audience is basically "I'm a phoenix". 1 2

She's always been instinctively smart even when she started at 16 and always knew how to read the room. Watching teenage Taylor interviews is so fascinating because she sounded like a veteran and she always knew exactly what to say and to which outlet to say it. 1

He knows that its Taylor’s feelings and experience of being cancelled. I’m glad Taylor knew her POTY will be polarizing, like almost everything she does or not. She maximized the narrative to promote reputation and her “underdog” status.
kyoshi Posted December 8, 2023 Posted December 8, 2023 Ohhh she's gatekeeping the numbers at least for another year

Cruel Summer Posted December 8, 2023 Posted December 8, 2023 Keeping the box scores is just weird IMO. I don’t get it at all. It’s not like she’s shy about success any other time, but whatever. Maybe it has something to do with the media narrative and relentless comparison to other women, as she briefly alluded to in the POTY interview. 1

Love that! Let’s list out all the possible reasons: 1. Avoid pitting women and all acts in general. 2. Create a mystery around The Eras Tour. 3. It’s no one else’s business. She doesn’t want the validation of “numbers”. 4. IRS

As she admits in the piece she's calculated and takes that as a compliment but we don't have to go that deep with that in every situation. I think she's just honoured (cause this recognition it's really out of every PR reaching work) to be recognized and the last thing she thought about this, expect in a smart way with hints with a photoshoot or with a tweet, is to use it to promote an album or whatever. politicians are divisive, i would say basically every POTY in history has been very divisive, even the popes now are. So she took the honour to her social and cultural impact for what it is, not to use it for something. This recognition is really huge. I think most in the fandom didn't realize. I went on her wikipedia page and there is still not reference to this thing
