I’ve decided I won’t engage on those threads anymore. They’re doing what they can to diminish her accomplishments. But in real life, every single person that I know is coming up to me and saying they’re happy for her, so that’s what matters :clap3:

Chronically online people can seethe.

I selectively argue with some members. I'm on ATRL so I obviously enjoy a bit of messiness. I just close the door when things get ugly, as they usually do.

But I completely agree that what's happening IRL is what matters, and that's why I can enjoy a few draggings here and there.

The last drop for me was the conservatives thread. It’s a shame that people will align themselves with those people just for a few drags.

This was a great listen on how Taylor ended up being this year’s choice. Apparantly the people reporting on business and politics were the ones arguing for Taylor.

Loved listening to this. It's really interesting.

And it’s really only a very specific type of chronically online - I looked at the announcement on Reddit of all places :deadbanana: and it was basically a sea of people being like “Taylor as POTY? Ok yeah I get it.” And then discussing all the highlights that lead up to this point

It's hard to predict her schedule in this decade but she always takes a pause to hype a new album, even for midnights she put the re releases on a full one year pause and kinda "disappeared" for some time.

Seems really strange a new album just some month after a new re release (that has new songs and singles for radios), when she is already so so mediatically exposed and while she also touring other projects.

As i said i don't see it like 100% impossibile but I think to close the re releases thing around the same time the tour about era will end seems the most logical thing in terms of exposure, time to dedicato to organize the launch of a new album etc... i don't see a scenario where we have a new album and she's touring in Norway or something that night.

Perennially underrated. She was incapable of writing a single lyric during Peak Now that didn't have addictive melody and phrasing.

Her being with the Searchlight director last night is interesting. I find it hard to believe there will be no movement on the film next year despite her busy schedule. I think they might film it in between shows at some point next year, and take advantage of her being off in March-April and September-October. If this year's shown us anything it's that she's willing to fly wherever at the drop of a hat, so I don't think trips across the Atlantic are out of the question, although maybe she could be filming in Europe? :celestial5:
