I'm all for dragging the good sis, but this is how things generally go for big tentpoles/blockbusters on the home release front:

 

Theaters -> VOD -> rental -> streaming (with physicals at some point, usually at the same time as rental). She just seems to be skipping VOD for some reason

also this seems to be distributed by Universal now, which makes sense since she’s with Republic, but it also means that it will probably come out on Peacock once it hits streaming

As far as I know, Universal Music Group and Universal Studios are two separate entities. They don't share owners.

This is true, UMG is under Vivendi and Tencent while Universal the studio is owned by Comcast.

Yes, exactly. 

 

Also, I don't think Taylor's label has any influence on her touring projects anyway. Even during the BMR days, her label was never involved with her tours (which is why she was able to use tour images for 'Fearless TV' & 'RED TV'). Her touring team is pretty much "in-house".

ah I had no idea about this. but in this case, the distributor seems to be Universal the actual studio  so I hope she’ll still be able to shop it to different streamers
