TaggedGalaxy Posted November 24, 2023 Posted November 24, 2023 Are we ready to have the conversation on this masterpiece and how it's top 20 in her discog yet? 1

I said oh my, what a marvelous tune throwback to when I thought the lyrics were: I’m a Barbie on a boardwalk

Michael196 Posted November 24, 2023 Posted November 24, 2023 I will allow her to use evermore for another album's grammy campaign, if it means for us to get a lpss 3
Cruel Summer Posted November 24, 2023 Posted November 24, 2023 Folklore will overshadow Evermore for at least a long time when it comes to the general public, and it’s mostly because it came first and therefore got the awards and year-end lists (for those who published before Evermore’s release). For fans, who of course are more likely to like both, it’s always just going to be a personal preference thing; neither album is objectively bad. Personally, Folklore is probably my third favorite Taylor album in the long run (after Red), but Evermore changed my life. 1

19SLAYty9 Posted November 24, 2023 Posted November 24, 2023 Folklore is the superior album. This is the end of the discussion. now let’s argue about something that’s never been done before, rep or lover?
Klein Posted November 24, 2023 Posted November 24, 2023 evermore is so amazing that it's what brought me into the fandom. Her best album by a long shot in my opinion, and that's saying a lot considering how much I already love folklore, Red and Speak Now. 3
Heldenzeit Posted November 24, 2023 Posted November 24, 2023 Lover finally got the animated cover in Apple Music. Looks gorgeous!
BtDecember Posted November 24, 2023 Posted November 24, 2023 She really redeemed herself with folklore and evermore after Lover huh 1

schnetzka Posted November 24, 2023 Posted November 24, 2023 As much as I love Evermore, I didn't really need it as we already had Folklore. Two albums in the same style just felt unnecessary to me.

BtDecember Posted November 24, 2023 Posted November 24, 2023 Ranking Taylor’s best to worst album: 1. Folklore 2. Red / Red (Taylor’s Version) 3. Evermore 4. Speak Now / Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) 5. 1989 / 1989 (Taylor’s Version) 6. Midnights 7. Reputation 8. Fearless / Fearless (Taylor’s Version) 9. Lover 10. Taylor Swift For years Speak Now used to be my #1 while Red was a close #2 but with the later’s vault tracks are much better than the former. 1989, Midnights and Reputation are very close to each other. I just put 1989 ahead of them because of Blank Space, Style, Wildest Dreams, I Know Places, and New Romantics
