It really sucks for Taylor right now. A bunch of Brazilian Swifties are angry at her, putting all the blame on her. Haters are seizing the moment to drag and cancel her. This feels even worse than what went down in 2016. It's just sad.

People who has common sense will understand the story and not blame her for this.

Only the haters jump on this to drag her and some loud obnoxious fans. Real fans know how much she cares for us throughout the years, no need for any explanation.

Unlike in 2016, everyone and their mother hate her guts.

it's gonna be weird if red turns out to be the only TV with only 1 week on top, given how much she pushed it esp compared to, say, fearless or speak now.

obviously she couldn't help adele releasing, but still.

I get it, but it bums me out thinking Taylor's kind of down on herself, especially since her mental health kinda inspired the song in my username. It's clear this is taking a toll on her, and it just genuinely makes me sad.

I don't think she has much to fear with Debut TV yet to come. :toofunny2:

I’m not blaming Taylor for any of this of course, and I can’t even imagine how she must be feeling. This is all out of her control and it won’t just magically get better starting today, so frankly she should just postpone indefinitely / cancel and move on to Sao Paolo. I’m super concerned for today and tomorrow’s shows if they do go through with them.

There is an significantly increased police presence outside the venue which should help with  security significantly.

if cruel summer indeed stays on top, she'll be the first artist this decade to lead multiple 4 week #1s.

Just so you guys understand how bad things are....some people on social media are blaming the lady who died and saying cruel things about her. That's how EVIL some of these haters are. It's insane. Like I get being upset with the last minute cancelation but to be cruel to Taylor or to the girl that passed away is INSANE

People at tonight’s show and other sources are saying everything is going smoothly. The weather is better, water is being passed out, and everyone is saying people are in good spirits and ready to see Taylor.

I hope these next two shows are amazing. It’ll help to quiet some of the chaos from the first show, but most importantly, it’s what the fans deserve.

Yeah im a "pathological people pleasure" myself and it sucks.

Cant even imagine the pressure she feels to please people on her scale. Just hope she is safe and dont be too hard on herself

she has the 3rd, 4th, and 5th most top 10 weeks for an album this century.

however, adele and especially that one man are pretty unlikely to be passed.

ETA: also, buble is becoming the mariah of the album chart so his christmas album may pass 60 weeks next year.

Taylor being the second most awarded at the BBMAs despite the sabotage :clap3: would have been the most awarded and snatched Top Billboard 200 album if they didn't exclude almost 2 million units from Midnights too. Not to mention they got rid of the general touring category and only did genre related ones like R&B, rock and K-Pop :toofunny2:

She's still going to prevail from this though.

Who cares what haters think?

There’s no way she hasn’t reached out yet…  how is that possible??

now the media outlets will take no time to jump on the bandwagon and make everything worse, as if it wasn’t horrible enough…

It's been two days.  We forgot that Taylor's human.

Yesterday Taylor and her whole team was focusing on figuring out what happened whether they could make changes to make the venue safe.  The mayor also said that Taylor wasn't in the best mental place.

Today was likely dealing with postponement and preparing for the concert.

Also Taylor's team doesn't speak Portuguese and don't really have contacts in Brazil outside the terrible event organizers.. They likely need those same organizers to get the family's info in the first place.

Swifties are crowdfunding so if you want to support-

I understand that, and the past two days have definitely been extremely hard to go through in every way possible. But this remains a priority too and Tree should’ve reached out immediately, communication and language are no barriers in this day and age, especially with the resources available for them.

And sorry if that will sound insensitive, but it’s neither the family or the fans’ responsibility to take care of the financial issues when two wealthy parties are involved, and Taylor’s team should take matters to their own hands instead of waiting for the trash company to move, especially since there’s no hope that they will actually do anything.

The father put a statement yesterday where he didn’t fault or criticize Taylor in any way, despite being the most affected of what happened.
