For me, Happiness is easily in her top 10. The sparse production and the lyrics :jonny6:

"Showed you all of my hiding spots... and in the disbelief I can't face reinvention."

"But now my eyes leak acid rain on the pillow where you used to lay your head."

I don’t think she’ll be taking a break after Eras, but I do think that after this is over it’ll be a few years before she tours again.

I agree. I just can’t see her pausing her musical output - girl got put in lockdown for a month or two and was like “hey I made a whole album! And then I did it again!” But I can see it being her last massive pop star tour for a while, and a kind of victory lap for all the music she’s made since her new record deal and for her reclamation of her old material. It’s difficult to know what to expect because she genuinely seems to love being the center of the universe, so it’s hard to tell if an extension to the tour means anything at all, really, other than that she saw an opportunity for some more cash and took it.

Exactly. I feel like she’ll continue to release music, and she also has her film to direct, so she’ll keep busy. I think the tour extension is just her striking while the iron’s hot—the Canada dates + those handful of new US dates (and a few of the international ones) are places they tried to book initially but couldn’t due to logistics, and she and her team are aware there’s demand at THIS moment, so she’s circling back around and doing her best to give everyone a chance.

I don't know how accurate it is, but TMZ says Taylor is releasing a Christmas album this year in their new TMZ Live video.

It's at 34:42: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sdhWLfcuTKE&t=2082s

If it's not Sounds Of The Season: The Taylor Swift Holiday Collection (Taylor's Version), she can keep it :ryan3:

I only have so much room in my heart for Taylor albums, and anything beyond SOTS:TTSHCTV will be far too much for me :gaycat4:

Now I'm believing what I heard about this being her big send-off before she takes a long break. :gaycat6:

Knowing her. Nah. She'll not stop this decade. Everything has been working out for her career-wise too well she knows its unwise to stop now.

Keep the forward momentum going but with a sonic reinvention, given how overprioritized Europe is this tour I'm predicting she's gonna go for the jugular and come for Dua's crown as European MPG. Dance-pop Taylor is coming! :jonny5:

It’s probably The Taylor Swift Holiday Collection (Taylor’s Version).

Spoiler

And she’s gonna tack on Christmas Tree Farm :gaycat7:

Although, a full Christmas album would count as a studio album, and of course there have been all those rumors about TS11... :eli:

New tour dates? I'm happy for the Canadian swifties :).

I would love a dance pop record, as she has such an ear for melody. And the genre is unexplored territory for her (sans TIWYCF but she didn’t even sing the entire thing :gaycat6:)

I SO want what I've heard to be wrong. I don't expect her to keep touring forever, but I NEED the musical output to continue. No matter how many other great and talented musical acts I find, no one hits me like the Lord. :wanda:

Also, I would love a Christmas album this year. But watch the lead block Brenda this year and everyone call her out for elderly abuse. :gaycat6:

Given how zany her creative mind is, I'm sure she's going to pivot to a new sound for TS11. It has to be. I don't think its time for her to do rock, save that in her late 30s-early 40s. She needs to give us the sexiest era of hers yet :jonny5: Her Fever!

Oooh I would LOVE a Christmas album full of gems like TTDS. Absolutely hate Christmas Tree Farm though and there’s really nothing in her Holliday collection worth re-recording. A brand new album with a folklore/evermore style set around the Christmas setting would be perfect.

I feel like a Christmas album now would kind of go under with all the '1989 (TV)' and tour frenzy. :gaycat6:

We need her to give a potential Christmas album her full attention with promo, MVs, a Xmas primetime special etc., so that it can become an annual classic, rather than something that'll be talked about for one year only (which I fear will be the case if she drops it quickly and nonchalantly this year)… :lakitu:

I think it's possible she has many Christmas songs in her vault which she never recorded before. The production might be country if she wrote it in her country days, pop if she wrote it in her pop days and indie folk if she wrote it in her indie folk days. I hope she will add some rock influences as well, because I would love that.

Or it's the Christmas version of Midnights. A collection of music from her vault but with a new production. Perhaps she will add the Joe heartbreak songs to the Christmas album as well to get over with that and make the next album a new fresh start. Additional bonus would be that she doesn't have to change her Eras show (because it are Christmas songs) but she can still release new material.

A 8/10 tracks Christmas album would be amazing, something with the sound of Gold Rush with a lead single and 2/3 country tracks sent to  country radios. 55-65M Debut on Spotify and 350.000/400.000 debut sales to end a perfect year

+ A song featuring a famous children company with a snl performance with Taylor and children singing

Knowing Taylor we might also get 18 Christmas songs. :lakitu:

And I think she will release it on November 17, which is why she made sure that everyone knows how much she loves and respects Dolly Parton, who will release on the same day. :celestial6:
