I've been on the edge of a cliff waiting for the boxscores ever since August ******* 9th :gaycat6:

Ik, she is so irritating sometimes. I really want eras tour gross before film box-office data comes out.

And yet...

I mean it would be so iconic for them to both hit a billion in the same day :gaylorcat2:

Spoiler

and before the girls break their heels, no I don't think the film is coming anywhere near 1B :gaycat4:

Of course not :gaycat4:

It's highly, highly, highly, highly unrealistic, but imagine the societal collapse ATRL would suffer if it came out that the Eras tour had made a billion dollars live AND as a concert film :jonny5:

What's your eras movie total prediction after all said and done?

Oh gosh I have no idea, especially with all the international showings being added. It's over for the other girls if it clears Chinese censors and gets played there, but even if that doesn't happen, I know it's going to be astronomical

Yus this needs to be released in China. Their film market is huge.

Imagine Philippines numbers lol.

The SM cinema (largest chain in the Philippines) website says they're only playing the film for 4 weekends, so I really hope the run is extended :gaycat6:

What do we think the chances are the box scores are released on the 13th?

So if ts11 is coming in November, she’s gonna do a Friday release. So November 3rd, 10th, 17th, or 24th. 24th is Black Friday and stores won’t stock new albums on Black Friday so probably not that date? Unless it’s an exclusive on her site? If it’s a surprise drop, she’s probably going to announce it a Thursday show. She has Thursday shows in Indianapolis November 2 and in Toronto November 16th & 23rd. She has no Friday or weekend shows the 17th or 24th interestingly enough when most of the tour has been Friday and weekend shows…

So concert tickets are obviously sold in local currency, and are reported to billboard in USD. For whatever reason, despite the actual conversion probably happening either right after the purchase (or certainly right after the show), the conversion calculation isn't done until the Taylor reports the figures.

Ughhh she needs to release the box scores immediately after the international shows bc certain foreign currencies fluctuate too much :biblionana: looking at BA mostly

Also her switching between blue and black is intersting is blue is 1989 and black is ts11… and her giving the beach theme to 1989 could mean ts11 has a city aesthetic…

when Sagittarius is a nicki collab on ts11

also pink Friday 2 is coming November 17 so probs not that day?

These shows are in 2024.

Really don't know what to expect when it comes to the boxscores. I mean the numbers will be great but I wonder there's a possibility they might be underwhelming?

Since so many people were confused that she did dynamic pricing at the time of the presale, I guess the US shows also had many VIP tickets so I think that won't be the case but still.

Deuxmoi rumor :gaylorcat2:

I don't believe these rumors. I definitely see her surprise releasing an album in the future, but definitely not TS11. Our girl love to accumulate pre-orders to have explosive 1st week. Also, she cannot have an entire new album and incorporate it in her shows without heavily chopping the other sections and I'm not here for every era to be as misrepresented as Speak Now was at the beginning of the tour (or another Debut situation).

BLACK IS PUTA come on now.

But I do smell TS11 too. Seems plausible since she’s coming to Europe.

GURL USD is stronger than more than half of the functional currency of the countries she’s touring, exceptions include CHF and GBP. There’s no worry on forex, and besides, the prices in other countries are more or less relatively equating to the ticket prices in US.

I think one of my favorite things about Lover is the fact that it’s the first album she 100% owned and now it’s doing what it has, like- :jonny4:

Must suck to be S**** B******** and we love to see it! :clap3:

Out of all the people Taylor has had issues with, Scott Borchetta is truly the worst in my eyes. This man was like a second father top her, someone she should have been able to trust with her life (her music). She placed so much faith in his hands that she declined a major record label deal to give him a chance, she included him in every decision she made musically for a decade, she even went along with his "MUSIC HAS VALUE!" bullshit when it genuinely had a detrimental effect on her charting success. And he threw all of that trust in the garbage for a little extra money.

I wish nothing but the worst to that lecherous sack of s***. :)

Absolutely. He’s the worst one in all of this. Scooter has always been a dumb sack of sh*t, but that’s part of the point, right? He’s just a dumb sack of sh*t. Of course he jumped at the chance to make hella money; meanwhile Scott didn’t mind selling the girl that he’d not only known since she was 14, but who was also solely responsible for getting him where he is, out for (what he thought at the time was) a large payday.

We wish him nothing but the worst forever. :clap3:

I think they should be released around the 10th or 11th to coincide with the premiere event :gaycat:
