This is like, a half truth. The stadium was booing their own team because they were losing (badly), but I guess these guys were booing Lord because the ad came up on the surrounding screens? My friend went to the game and said no one was booing her in his section lol.

Cruel Summer still being at #4 on Hot 100 and #5 on Spotify Global is truly the hallmark of a stable global hit.

Some fans on Twitter want them to collab, but apart from how unconventional of a collab this would be for Taylor, I also can't imagine how it would even sound. :deadbanana4:

I've definitely noticed that the public (straights especially) are turning against her since she's been shoved down their throats on the NFL broadcast lately... but thankfully tour starts soon again and she probably wont have time to show up anyways :swan:

I mean, she’s tied herself to the Chiefs. Of course the opposing sides fans are going to “boo” her. Football worship is CRAZY here

I've actually noticed the exact opposite.

that's good 'cause I hate American football (Why would they call it "football" if they don't use their feet to kick the ball?) :gaycatx:

"real" footballsoccer is there :giraffe:

The public isn't turning against her at all. Football fans aren't her demographic and this won't affect her. The same losers throwing a hissy fit over her going to the games certainly weren't streaming her music or going to her shows before this.

Ofc her fans havent and wont ever turn against her .. that was never the case even when it was ''cool'' to hate her back in the day. What i mean is that i've noticed the public/non fans getting more annoyed by her after getting shown every 2 mins on the NFL broadcast, which tbh i get.. if i dont care about Taylor and just want to watch football i wouldnt wanna see her reaction after every play or her name overshadowing the game. And ofc its not really her fault what the NFL show on their broadcast. Obviously they are just taking this opportunity to make some money off her name

I dont think the hate will ever get as bad as back in the day, but i feel like shes been pretty liked even by non fans in the last couple of years and now i've started seeing the first signs of overexposure (i actually follow the nfl and i've just read a bunch of comments that were like this ''I dont dislike Taylor but if the broadcast is gonna show her reaction after every play they are gonna make me dislike her. I just want to watch the game and not a Taylor fancam'')

11 years later, what’s the general opinion on IKYWT?

I kinda don’t like it now :skull: it’s just there for me (wish she would remove it from the set list as well)

A classic, top five of her singles, and I actually prefer this over Blank Space  BS is amazing but there's something in IKYWT that makes me keep coming back to it. Also I may have overplayed BS so much now.

All Too Well > Anti-Hero > Style > Trouble > Out of the Woods is my top five pop singles from Taylor.

Midnights almost a year in the top 10 on BB200, we have to make it happen, it's about to fall off!

Well she is dating KC tight end. And KC are defending Superbowl champions. Ofc fans of other teams are gonna hate her.

I am a huge Real Madrid fan and hate Barcelona, it's natural.

Today Was A Fairytale is so excellent.

Fearless might truly be her peak in terms of melodies because damn :jonny5:

How dis she write Love Story in just 15 minutes is just beyond me? Just incredible.

Fearless is easily her most underrated album, I love Today Was A Fairytale

I nearly had a heart attack when she did Jump Then Fall at my show :jonny5: (the locals didn’t know it)

I don’t know a single skip on Fearless unlike Lover or Red.

The way I would die if I got The Way I Loved You or You're Not Sorry or Come In With The Rain...

The French stadium would do a better mute challenge than the crowd at any Beyoncé show though.

With that said, only Lover and Red has skips for me, with Lover as the worst offender.

A classique that will remain on every set list until she retires.

It’s still cute, but over the years there’s some live versions I’ve come to much prefer. It’s definitely one of her classics, though.

looks like the good sis @By the Water and I are in the minority here :giraffe: but perhaps y’all aren’t ready to have that conversation

that’s what worries me about the European shows, that she will stick to songs mostly known by the GP and locals and pay dust to deep cuts

I don’t think that will be the case. Actually, she will probably promote more of her deeper cuts, so she can solidify those songs among public over here even more.

You bring up great points. But what’s her option here, really? Not go to games at all? Ask the NFL to stop paying her so much attention?

I feel bad for her because she’s not soliciting this attention. The NFL will continue to use her so long as her presence continues to bring in big ratings, regardless of the consequences to her personal brand.

She just wants to go have fun with her friends and watch Travis play, but Taylor Swift the brand and persona are so big right now she can’t even do that in peace. :deadbanana: Literally the premise of Anti-Hero playing out again.

I mean yeah i agree with this, its obviously not her fault the NFL is milking her appearances. She should be able to attend the NFL games if she wants to, plenty of stars go watch NFL games without being shown every  couple minutes on broadcast. I guess she is just TOO big at the moment :rip:

We will see how it goes once the news of them 'dating' arent as fresh
