We have Joe Alwyn stans for real?

I'm not a Joe Alwyn stan but I respect him. He's not a terrible person, I think he's a bit reserved.

I can't believe the Eras Tour movie has a legitimate chance at being the second biggest music related thing of this year behind...the Eras Tour. TRULY, the music industry. Barbara Walters shaking the table from beyond the grave. :WAP:

I was thinking about making a slightly messy thread asking if the Eras Tour movie is going to outgross A Star Is Born, but I think I'm going to keep it cute. :gaycat4:

Tired of pretending Fearless doesn't have the most unimpeachable melodies of her career.

Writing those hooks at 16-17...A PRODIGY, a VIRTUOSO, A MUSICIAN. :wanda:

I never got into Fearless OG (aside from singles) b/c the production and vocals are terrible but listening to the TV made me really appreciate it. The singles are CLASSICS and the album tracks are stellar as well :jonny:

Swifties kinda more relevant than some pop girls

When we finally get to fully appreciate the mixtape with the TV after years of tolerating Lord's terrible vocals :jonny5:

I was just listening to Bulgarian singer Andrea because she serves the bops, and she ends this video with the lyrics of Karma (Taylor is even cited in the description), her never ending impact I fear :dies:

There’s someone at Spotify forcing Superman upon me.  It’s been one of the first 3 songs on my shuffle for a few days now.

Lucky you. They always give me that stupid "a little less conversation and a little more touch my body" song. :rip: Like it's enough!

Absolutely nothing. It's DD using Swifties for engagement.

hm as a film nerd I wouldn’t say this is true. boutique labels such as Criterion and Kino are very successful, and the Warner Archive is profitable enough to have survived two company mergers and insanely violent cost cutting mesures at Warners.

Bob Iger also said that Disney needed to look back into physical media to turn a profit, and the gross content purge of streaming services are making people realize the value of physical media.

it’s actually quite comparable to vinyl, with collectors chasing down variants, steelbooks, slipcovers, etc.

so that statement isn’t really true sis :giraffe:

I get and agree with what you're saying but in this case, they need to come up with a way to ignite the demand because other than franchise cult followings, there's no reason for the gp to pay more for something they can get in an easier and cheaper way.

I agree people are doing too much with the Alwyn discourse but I will say her speech in this TikTok is very telling of her opinion on keeping a relationship hidden

I know it’s an old clip but I’m guessing that sentiment has lasted within her subconscious

Taylor avoiding the media at all costs made sense in 2016/2017 so Joe was kinda what she needed at that time but it's clear now that at one point this over the top attempt at privacy is part of what makes her feel the way she does about her fame like she talks about in AH

the girls have been getting wet over this video while non stop sharing it for the past few days :bibliahh:

You'd think that people that lived through the whole Ratty fiasco would just try to enjoy this situation while we can but some people can't let go of the man that was never by her side in any important moment of her career in all the years they were together. Not with her when she was named AOTD by the AMAs, not with her for her speech for WOTD at the Billboard Women in Music Awards, not with her when folklore won AOTY, not with her when she was named Global Icon at the Brits, not with her for the ATW premiere, not with her for Midnights' announcement at the VMAs, not with her for the start of the Eras Tour. Like, damn :rip:
