Praying right there with you! But honestly, I’ve been in such a Reputation mood lately out of nowhere, and 1989 TV has me hyped - I could get on board for more pop Taylor. I desperately need them to announce the non-aired categories, because just one more win for Anti-Hero would put it in the top 5 most awarded videos ever (and 5 wins in one night would put Tay in the top 5 most awarded acts in one night), if one can consider the numerous ties. Well… Dua Lipa is consider a VMA winner and her only win is Best Visual Effects for Physical in 2020.

 

So yes it appears that the technical categories goes to the artist as well.

MTV VMA twitter account also seems to credit Taylor Swift for the technical awards.

 

 

Sources are saying Taylor won 9 tonight and that’s because Visual Effects and Cinematography are being counted.
